Top of my head ....
1)Win the premier league
2)Be a team-player type of manager... (ie...doesn't cut of his nose to spit his face when the CEO signs players like Crouch, Bellamy, Pennant, Agger, Keane, Babel...etc).
3)Signs players who are suited to the english league (Strong, Pacy players with good 1st touch).
4)Buys quality instead of quantity (Makes use of the millions he get every season to buy 1st team players to improve the team... Not to load the squad with average players).
5)Doesn't bite the hand the feeds him (ie....don't do interviews that puts the club in a bad light...don't make use of his "friends" to pass inaccurate news of clubs being interested to sign him and put himself above the club)
6)Great Man-mangement skills ..what differentiates a manager from a run of a mill coach is that he has to have this.... He has to have this trait. Players must give their 100% every match for their manager.
7)A good media personality - .He has to give awesome interviews & Quotes...Yapping to the press in monotonous voice which puts a caffin-loaded person to sleep is a strict 'NO-NO'. ......
Are you saying Rafa has none of these qualities?
I didn't make that statement but I agree with it. I would say, as I always have said, that Rafa is a good coach but a very average manager. His biggest failing is in man-management and signings oh and negative tactics, plus leaking news too serve his OWN, not Liverpool's, interests. Having said that he is bloody brilliant in Europe, I have to give him that.

Sorry
Thanks for getting us there, getting our hopes up and losing to a far inferior AC milan than when we won it because of insane team selection and tactics
Is that better?

Must we mention Mourinho in every thread? FWIW I agree that Kenny Dalglish should be in there, winning the league with two different teams is a marvellous achievement. People wrongly said he "bought the league" at Blackburn, when in actual fact that wasn't the case, as it rarely is.
Kenny should definately be in there. That said, since you bring him up, as the holder of the record points total in English football history, Mourinho probably should too. It's hard when you look at it as my instinct would be to knock Alf Ramsey out but then he did win the World Cup so you can't really. Just having a great bunch of players doesn't bring any certainties, as Sven and Shteve proved.
Jock Stein. He's the one, jib him and get Kenny into seventh or wherever it is.

You are a complete
tool.
All you do is slate our team.
Even if you have factual credible or even interesting things to say in the future people will dismiss then because you have been suck a penis thus far.
I am not sure about the top 2. Yes our man was brilliant but Fergie has done some brilliant things. He definately deserves a number 2 spot, so which way round they come is highly debatable.. is anyone going to swallow some pride and agree with me???
There are some good managers on that list but there are a few that could be dropped or at least push backwards for Kenny. He didnt inherit a great team and he did get us playing fantastic football, yes SirRoger, he was manager when we lost the FA cup to the Wombles but come on cut some slack stop being an
.
For Liverpool he is a God, well for most Liverpool fans, and purely for his devotion to the club, for me, he is up there with Paisley, Shanks, SirAlcho and that
Clough.
These sort of tables never get it right but... Kenny is the only one missing for me.
Cool down kitten
The whole poll is shi.t in my opinion.
Paisley is number one in anyones book (if they are sane...)
Lets get something straight:
1: I was only winding GYBS up because he says some funny things
B: I do not, have never, and do not intend to suck penis
And
4: Kenny Dalglish was one of the best managers LFC ever had and certainly should be in the top ten for his achievements both with LFC and the other clubs he managed.
p.s. He lost the league to Arsenal in '89 in the last minute (I was there)
