The games certainly won't work as they are region protected. You'll have to order PAL or region free games online.

Doh! The problem's sorted now. Before setting everything up, I thought I'd just try the power brick, to see if it powers the XBox - which it did. I looked up what all four red lights meant and it was simply because I'd not connected my AV cable. I'm now playing happily again, although my FIFA disc is fecked.

You can see Kojima has taken more influence from action-orientated movies as some of the boss fights and action sequences are simply first rate. Graphically, it stands out as one of the best.

I made the defection to FIFA from Pro Evo this year and I simply haven't looked back. Its by far and away the best title. Be a Pro is simply class - Martin Tyler even says your name. Says it all!

"Dead Space"..Im shocked! :angry:

There is not a second of comfort in this game,whether it be worrying about where you are gonna go,why you should or what you are gonna meet on the way there.The lighting is fantastic,the controls are spot on,the music is excellent..im not even that far in and its edge of your seat stuff,im worried about my crewmates!

Great game..just fantastically done in every detail! Class,well scary!

Wario Ware will make you feel like an idiot but it's good fun with lots of people. Mario party also fun for a group, and you don't feel quite as dumb.

Smart Pants, good trivia game, also good for lots of people. Wii sports always a blast. And I'm a fan of Super Smash Brothers, but that game isn't for everyone.

People also seem to be buzzing about Wii Fit.

I'd honestly buy a PS3 if it had some better games, simple as, but as most of the games are on the 360 and the 360 has a better online community there isnt much point at the moment but with games like Killzone 2 which is suppose to have a big online following then it does start to appeal more.

I think when the PS3 has a quality racing game out then I'll start saving, GT5 prologue cant be classed as one because its not even the full game, at the moment the 360 has Halo 3, Halo wars, PGR4, Forza 2, Race Pro, GOW, etc and the PS3 only has Killzone and Motorstorm that interest me so I'll re-evaluate in 6 months me thinks.

On another note I'll have to start gaming online with you guys, I've only played against a few of you and seeing as though most are playing FIFA09 I guess I'll have to dust off my footie boots cos I havent played it for like 4 months (and I was rubbish then, lol)

Great game Alex but way too many cut scenes, more cut scenes than game play , ruined it for me. :shifty

My Wife and two daughter have Ds lites and we
play mario all over the house even when their in
bed and i'm in the bath it's excellent, but just as fun is the mario ans sonic olympics. :buttrock

Agree 100%.

MGS has amazing production values and some nifty story telling and character development, but if I wanted that, I'd rent a film or read a book. The main problem for me is that MGS just has not evolved as a genre whatsoever. You'd have thought that the AI since the PSX days would have evolved into something a lot more exciting, but it hasn't. The graphics get souped up. That's it. I personally thought the Syphon Filter games on the PSX were much better. They combined both stealth and action and was all just raw gameplay. MGS is easily one of the most overrated series of games ever, and so's Kojima.
