Umm, the reason Anfield was so flat last night is down to the fact that we have given Man utd their 19th title. What do people expect? Liverpool fans to be singing and cheering?  ???

Add to this that it was a mid week game against Sunderland (both of which are poor choices for atmosphere) and there wasn’t ever going to be much of a vocal presence, the only reason Blunderland made a noise is because it was their travelling fans and these are traditionally the harder vocal element of a team’s support.

Let me just clarify something here  i have no an will never have any gripe with ooters as you call them going the game. i have loads of mates from all over who are good reds an go the games an have been for years

The ones im talkin about are say forinstance a lad from london for  manages to get a couple of tickets ok hes only been the odd game but he takes his mate or his girlfriend who hasnt got a clue an i mean not a clue cause there are plenty around, what do they dop on the mobile phone for 80 minutes telling everyone listen im at Anfield, its jarrin, i gave another example in another post what the hell is a lad doing at one of our games when he has to ask which one is Gerrard.

I live in London meself so im an oooter if you like, i think i know a little bit about football but i certainly know about our club an its history, iTS just so annoying when you see these people an there is getting more an more of them who Know :censored: all , when you have local kids an not just kids men an woman who would give there right arm to get inside the ground an support the team.

I hear what you are saying and i agree....but the way i see it is these plastics spend money buying tickets, and buying stuff from the shop. They also buys shits and other stuff....times that by 500,000 and they all essentially help the club and for that it is a small price to pay.

Without the OOT support LFC would struggle

If you dont rate a player fine have ago an a moan in the pubs or on the internet forums . but while any player an i dont care who he is wears that red shirt at Anfield an plays for us . we have to show support for that player , Weather hes on the pitch or the bench.. Its an absolute disgrace that some of our fans our behaving like this, An they should just do one imo. never set foot inside the ground again,

We dont need fans like that , a NEW BREED OF FAN HAS EMERGED AT OUR CLUB AN I DONT LIKE IT.

im gettin good here i didnt use one swear word,

Well said Nanny, I totally agree. I am an ooter.. Im from Lancaster and now live in London but I get to some away games and go to 2 may be 3 games a season at Anfield. I no the songs and know the squad etc and get frustrated sitting near people who question who a player if they are called 'insua' or 'ElZahr' 'Degan' or 'Nemeth.' I hate people who moan like :censored: at, say, Masch if he has a bad ten minutes, have some perspective for gods sake.

It's a joke!

Exacly an thats what im trying to say. You get good Loyal fansfrom all over the shop. Who support there team an the players through thick an thin .but alls you need is a couple of i want my moneys worth we should be 4-0 up inside ten minutes an its spreads,

What woould you do  4 lads in suits all from London at a exibition in Liverpool an yet they manage to get tickets for the game, Alls they do is critise ,use the phones, take pics an eat, only one of them is a red . Now i have experienced this an i let rip, cause to me they should of been nowhere near our ground, Are these the type of fans well there not fans if you know what i mean , but do we want these type in the ground .

No :censored: chance

We have always had OOT support and the ones I have met over the years have been sound and follow us everywhere, but there is a new breed following us now, that booing of Lucas is what Ingurlund fans do when Peter Crouch came on the pitch. These fans are the problem.

It doesnt matter if they are from liverpool or Timbucktoo they are feckin clueless idiots and need feckin off pronto.

i'm an ooter ( coming from bristol ) i try to get up as much as i can, i don't get up there as much as i would like that's down to many things money, not being able to get tickets when i can afford to go or ever having to take my lad to his matches

every time i do go though i can't talk much the next day as i try to give everything i can to support my team i will not say i know all the words to all the songs but most i do know and if i hear one i don't i listen and learn it so i know it for the next time

my lad was 9 yesterday and came to the game with me tue, he asked me to print or write the words out for ynwa and other songs so that he could sing them right and not get the words wrong that's how much he puts in to it i hope because he sees me screaming singing and shouting

so people who do go and don't even want to learn need to think about why they are there

it was not rocking on tues night which i felt was a shame for my lad, i can understand why it might not be but he was asking why and i tried to explain to him but he just said so what and shouted as loud as he could

i'm such a proud father :D

I understand your frustrations. I was in chip shop a couple of years ago and Liverpool were on the telly (match of the day highlights) and some guy announces to his friends that he is “now a Liverpool fan”. I’m standing there waiting for my cod and chips and the guy standing by the telly with his mates started going on about Cisse…..i wouldn’t mind but Cisse wasn’t playing in the match and it was actually Traore he was pointing out!

You get it in all sports, people like winners and want to be part of it. I just suffer it because, so long as they buy a shirt and scarf, they’re financially supporting the club and that is no bad thing. If (god forbid) we became mid table fodder you would find these plastics would all soon disappear.

It will be interesting to see how things pan out at Arsenal if they continue to drop down the table. Will their plastics leave and go back to Man Utd/Chelsea?

This is just a fu.cking excuse.  We've blamed Rafa, we've blamed the yanks, we've blamed Rick Parry.  Now let's blame 'the ooters' for things not going to plan :no

Fu.ckin xenophobic cu.nts.

there is an easy way to find out who makes the atmosphere at home games.....give priority to fans with Liverpool postcodes....then there would be less ooters...and a better atmosphere...with locals who know the words to the songs we sing...cos most of the ooters dont!!. :no

Complete balls. I've been supporting Liverpool for over 20 years, and while I respect that the locals have probably more of a right to be inside Anfield during games, it doesn't mean to say every one of them are more vocal, supportive, or knowledgeable than people who live abroad. I know lads here who are absolute hardcore; eat, breath, sh*t LFC. I've a mate who shaved a Liverbird into his hair for the CL final two years ago. Another with half a dozen tattoo's. I've also sat and listened to Sky Sports and other phone in shows where so called Scousers did nothing but absolutely tear the team to peices verbally, whereas I've heard people from here, and other places, phone in and be nothing but argue against the status quo, which is usually LFC and Benitez bashing in the press and media. This whole OOT Vs Scouse thing is just complete bollox. It's not a location thing. It's a new age thing where we simply just aren't the family club we used to be and think we are anymore. Those days are gone. It's a new era of Manc domination and a lot of the newbies all have an inferiority complex met with a lack of serious understanding of the old Liverpool way.

Nice post mate as a Dad you have to teach them young before they start following all there mates in school who seem to follow any team because they are winning.
When I was at school Liverpool were even more an all conquering force than the mancs are now.
