I see where your coming from mate.
I live in London so im not one to speak...only being able to travel to 3 games a season really.

But each game seems to get quieter and quieter

About 15 seconds in till up to about 21 secs the lad in the white shirt with black tiean beettle hair cut is our George, me mams brother :laugh:

That is the problem now cigg it seems we only get buzzin on a european night or the mancs or a derby, its disgraceful

When we dont win nothin all the gobshi.tes will go back to supporting who ever is winnin just watch. Thats why i hardly go to mant home games like i used to its better at the away matches

I've just got back from the game and would agree that tonight the atmosphere was subdued to say the least. However it was always going to be flat after Saturday's result, not an excuse just an explanation. It didn't matter whether we won 2-0 or 10-0 tonight the feeling is that we have blown our best chance for years to win the League and you can't get away from that.

I always hope the atmosphere is going to be rocking but wasn't the least surprised tonight. I went to the corresponding away fixture in August at The Stadium of Light and their home support was a credit to them and drowned us out completely.

On the same page that "the best you'll never walk alone ever" is unbelieveable as well. Should watch it right till the very very end as well if you get chance, definately worth a look that one.

I know today's atmosphere is a joke compared to other nights or Scouse past.

But day tripper in a working day and not booing a team in crisis with the manager questioned is much better than any Spanish Crowd, so from my alien point of view they're not awful, it's just that they can't be compared to the most loyal local fans.

In away games you can hear in TV more songs of our team than in nights like this. Today I barely heard Torres one mildly, a slight attempt on Mascherano one I think the YNWA and little less.
