There were too many to choose from for 90s, everything from pixies and pavement to blur and moose. Ride, Curve, so many many bands... but I chose the one that I like, and I got some :D

With ye Dawson, Pixies are awesome, one of my favourites...

This one might be a bit heavy for most, and it is also the tune that started the 'nu-metal' craze in the late '90s, which is responsible for armies of hoody-wearing, black t-shirt wearing spotty gimps!

Still fu.ckin ace tune though, saw them live in Dublin, class.

Can't have a '90s theme without THE band of the '90s though.

Changed guitar music forever...

One of my favourite Nirvana songs - Lithium

Released in 1987, mate, and I'm doubting it took 3 years to chart in the UK...it's a belter of a song from a fantastic band. :nod

It must be said, BTW, that the 90s weren't a patch on the 80s when it came to quality music.  All, IMHO of course.

No Doubt had a few good ones but one which popped into my mind was this one:

Spiderwebs.

Catchy tune.
Bill Shankly: “I was the best manager in Britain because I was never devious or cheated anyone. I’d break my wife’s legs if I played against her, but I’d never cheat her.”
