Thats what was disapointing, that we allowed ourselves to sink to there level and turn the match into a scrap. Not too bothered anyway, theres no way we could have coped with a cup run on top of the league and champions league, the squad is far to weak.

Not too sure about that Max. We looked flat from the very beginning.

Still though, if there is one man we can count on to pull something out of the bag, it's Gerrard.

I heard it's his hammy that went in the game though...not good.

The feckin hammy i hate it

.. Yeah maybe who knows the scoreline could have stayed the same but when gerrard is on the pitch i always get a feeling that maybe we could win. His taken us out of darkness into light soo many times that i always think if our man is playing we always will win!

Hope he isnt too serious.

Ah well..... lets concentrate on benitez's bread and butter (champions league)...and to a certain extent the premier league.
