442 / 451 what ever it doesn't matter taking off the 3 players that were doing anything on the pitch was wrong wrong wrong yes change things but not them ok maybe bennie for reira and put babel on the right lucus foe keane and gerrard sits back in oh :censored: it don't know i'm just so :censored: off

How many times have we done that this season?

Way too many times mate, I am as sick as everyone else, I just think if it had stayed at 1-0 we would be saying how much better we played tonight rather than what a shower of sh!te.

You're right, S@int. We never played poor at all, and we were in total control. But it's not about the team that was picked, or the performance. It's just about Rafa this time, and this time he just completely made a complete balls up. Honestly, his subs this time were just absolute crazy. He never even had to make a sub. Simply subbing like-for-like with Babel for Riera, or putting Dirk on for Benayoun would have sufficed. Nothing fancy. Solid. Job done. Instead he takes the captain off after that f*cking eejit gives away a pen, and leaves him on the pitch. I dare say even Gerrard will be scratching his head at that.

Exactly I don't understand two of these subs.  Yeah sure Riera should have came on but for Babel not Torres.  Kuyt should have stayed on the bench and maybe Keane on for Torres since he was exhausted.  And then Gerrard off for Keane after the goal?  Not Babel still? Come on, ridiculous today.

To be fair to both, neither were playing very well at all, though Gerrard still looked a threat at times. Though it makes no sense whatsoever to take your two best players off when even if they are quiet, they can still produce a match winner. Torres was unlucky to have hit the post, but leaving Lucas on and taking Gerrard off is just f*cking madness in the extreme. Lucas is NOT LFC standard, end of. Why he gets a first place berth is mental. We were controlling that game up until those subs, which totally f*cked it for us. Maybe not the first sub (which was very strange, but still made sense with two more subs to be used) but the other two wrecked our shape. Keane should have come straight on for Babel IMO, with Reira on the left and Kuyt wide right. That at least would have made better sense, but taking Gerrard off and Torres? Rafa tried to be clever, and he f*cked it.

if you need a goal in the last min who would you put your money on...Gerrard ........no not Rafa he takes him off.

Taking Gerrard off is the single MOST bizarre decision I have ever seen. Completely and utterly unbelievable.. my fcuking goodness.

Is there any point saying Chelsea is a must win game?
Cos it has no effect on the teams performance..

How ironic would it be to beat Chelsea and have Everton do us a favor. F*cking hell.

He has to go thanx for the memories but please leave now.
You have spent millions upon million and we are as static as ever with your pathetic possion football we need to attack and attack and attack.

There is only one man to blame and that is the manager I cannot defend him anymore Im sorry, even our defence is leaking like a sive.

Just go and take the whole board with you fresh start.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

Dear God

I don't want to say told you so but I was saying this could easily happen a few weeks back. I never dreamt that Rafa would manage to feck up three games in a row though.

Can any Rafalites still out there please explain, and you'd better making it very fecking good, how Rafa is a tactical genius?

from the bbc

2131: In all that insanity, Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard was taken off and replaced by Robbie Keane at Wigan. That is a decision I am not even going to try and understand.

I'm as sick as a pig.  I'm not annoyed as much as disappointed.

We're still 2 years away from being a championship threat.
