How many times have we done that this season?

Way too many times mate, I am as sick as everyone else, I just think if it had stayed at 1-0 we would be saying how much better we played tonight rather than what a shower of sh!te.

Its the repeated cautious decision of playing safe once we get a goal. You could see Babel playing much further behind on kick off of the 2hf. Its always haunted us. Why we cannot simply play positive is beyond me..

he cant help it. Rafa is defensive minded and will only be positive if his forced to.

Why oh why do we not go for the juggular why does 1 - nil seem enough it always seems rafa wants to do the least amount of work to get the job done so what if the players tire but at least they are going for the second or third goal to kill the game off. That is the main difference between us and manure. There squad this season is not the greatest but they still keep going and going the only time we have done that this season is against Newcastle

Stoke was a must win
Everton was a must win
Wigan was a must win

and we draw all 3 through bad tactics and team selection, Rafa has to come out and say hes messed up.

Fergie wins the battle of the mind games yet again.

Should Rafa be given a new contract? Can he really take us further than this? I dont think so.

I think that the 2 owners or the new owners will NOT offer any new contract to Rafa ....

All the matches that we lost points are all because of Rafa's 4-5-1 .... and today "oops he did it again" ...

He should played 4-4-2 and kill the game in the 1st half and sub the key players during the 2nd half ...

Were :censored: in a 4-4-2

so what if both Torres and Gerrard aren't playing well, they are the only two players that's scores for us consistently when needed.

4-5-1 isnt the problem.  That system can still be positive if u have the midfielders who will get forward at every opportunity.  4-4-2 does not mean we would of won tonight.

Agreed. I wouldn't give a fuck if they gave the fact prick his bus fare back to Spain.

I can't believe that nonsense.

There's no tactical genius at work here, that's for sure.

big talk off the pitch don't sit so well when on the pitch we play like pussies......afraid to commit too far forward, to take the risk just to secure the game and make sure we can bring the 3 fu.ckin points home!!

not to mention ridiculous mistakes and schoolboy errors like someone else mentioned.......

this goes for the management and players, this needs to stop now......we have important games coming up starting on saturday, fu.ck that every game is important now, we can't throw away all the good work we did up until the new year!!

You can't help but notice that all our bad results have come since Rafa made his comments about Fergie. We haven't won since.

You're right, S@int. We never played poor at all, and we were in total control. But it's not about the team that was picked, or the performance. It's just about Rafa this time, and this time he just completely made a complete balls up. Honestly, his subs this time were just absolute crazy. He never even had to make a sub. Simply subbing like-for-like with Babel for Riera, or putting Dirk on for Benayoun would have sufficed. Nothing fancy. Solid. Job done. Instead he takes the captain off after that f*cking eejit gives away a pen, and leaves him on the pitch. I dare say even Gerrard will be scratching his head at that.
