Hope benitez brings in Keane for kuyt....i am sure  keane will score goals against the newcastle defence

Was thinking the same thing.... but to be fair, Kuyt's had a decent game so far.

And break his confidence ? Babel is having his best game in a while.

Get rid of Kuyt and bring on Keane.

Given with another world class save.... This could be our annual big thrashing game...

And Kuyt missed an open goal.....

are you watching the same game as everyone else ? Babel having a blinder ? ! And wanting kuyt taken off ? ! You need glasses .

Well even though they scored im made up with the way were playing. yes even Lucas is doing ok today. only one down side for me in our team Babel. I hate Benayoun but hes playing well so far no complaints from me for him in the first half. But Babel needs to sort himself out

First half ratings

Reina 6

Carra 6
Hyypia 8
Agger 7
Insua 6

Babel 7
Gerrard 7
Lucas 8
Masch 8
Benayoun 8

Kuyt 7

A really lucky goal for newcastle at the end doesn't take away anything from the lads.

I'd generously give Babel and Carra a 5.

Carra has no ability on the ball at right back, never takes on his opponent, always a backwards pass and he conceeded the goal at the corner. Not he's fault (he's not a right back) but still not more than 5 possibly a 4.

Babel coughs up the ball far too much.

Benayoun, Lucas best two on the field for me. magnificent performance by those two.

Can't believe how much control we have had in this game it should be about 4 or 5 and it will be an absolute travesty if we don't win this game.Lucas for some reason is starting to look like the player we have been told he is going to be I've been very impressed by him.I think Babel needs to come off tho for Reira cos he has been largely ineffective and bring Keane on too.

There is defo more goals in this one!! :D

we have had 66% of possession so far and 17 shots and 6 corners. we could have been better off if Given didnt display such a wankworthy performance. but we're doing very very well.

poor defending from gerrard there and he knew it himself . Rafa will give them a bit of a telling off but carry on the same way and hopefully can win comfortably

just pray that we don't do an arsenal...

we need to keep attacking... attacking is the best defence in this game...

Surprise of the season for me has been Hyypia. He's been absolutely immense almost every time he's played. :)
