3 - this might or might not be it... but if its not, its a pretty cool answer!  : the date reads the same upside down as it does the right way up. the next time that occurs is 6009

Saint and RedmanInWales have solved 2 and 3 respectively. Saint is playing mind games and distracting Judge in his attempt to catch up with the supposed runaway leader Destro who is nowhere to be seen today. :D

ps: how did you guess it Redman? i would have started thinking about major events that shook the world

no, the fact of over 4000 years through me off the whole history thing and i was looking at it in a palendromic way - although its not a palendrome - but looking at the numbers 6 and 9 and realising that aprt from their connotations of lying there and staring at a moist landing strip, they are also two numbers which when read upside down are the same

1) Six friends are playing a word game. To see who will start, they each draw a letter tile from a bag containg all the letters of the alphabet. Anna pulls out a J, Simon pulls out an R, Lauren pulls out and H, Joe pulls out a P and Marie Claire pulls out a C. Jaqueline's letter completes the sequence perfectly. WHAT IS IT??

2) An artist is painting on a canvas measuring two metres by two metres. He would like to cover half the canvas in a sky blue paint, but he also wants to leave a square section blank, which is still two metres high and two metres wide. IS IT POSSIBLE FOR HIM TO DO BOTH??
