Yeh, Liverpool songs are better than the ones of Frente Atletico.

It's normal they are better, as the former are sang by a bunch of supporters of a football club, and the latter are sang by a bunch of erm, people, who has ideologies and nations to defend.

Thus, the Liverpool supporters sing about the team present and past glories, about their glories. They tell in a song to other crowds how they have not history. They sing about football. That's the only thing they support, the club.

In the Spanish crowds, the clubs are not that important in the songs. Too many Spanish or Basque for that matter ideological twáts. Too much racism and imitating monkeys. Boos to our own team when they're playing badly. People leaving 15 mins before the end of the game because the team is 0-1 down in order to get the car sooner.

In Spanish football, the ones who sing, are normally political idiots, no matter if they're left (like the basques), or right winged idiots. And the rest of the stadium is a morgue.

In Anfield, you hear a song not coming from one of the goals, but from the 4 sides of the stadium.

In Spain we play great football these days. But when it comes to support a football club we have a lot to learn from England. And among the English, Liverpool are the masters of all of them.

I sincerely hope that Torres plays no part what so ever in our next few games. Madrid, WBA and whomever else we've got. I'm starting to get a little anxious over his hamstring injuries now if truth be told. Considering we've all seen this before with M.Owen, we dont need to rush another World class player back into the side when looking at the bigger picture.

I think Nando has had three Hamstring injuries in his time at Liverpool (while two of them I thnk were on international duty ). I dont know what his injury history was like at A. Madrid, but if we rush him back we could see another star go down the M.Owen route. Being plagued by injuries for the rest of his career and never being able to use his pace in the same way again. He needs to rehabilitate the Hamstring and rest, then rest some more even if he's fit just to give as a precaution imo.

Rafa  said that he is going to have a word with the Spanish coaches and medical staff to prevent this sort of thing happening again. Hopefully he wont be playing in any of their friendly matches they have lined-up for the foresable.

We need a 100% fit Nando, not one who is only 90% fit with the doubts in the back of his mind the the Hamstring will go with a turn of pace. Although he'll probably have those doubts in his mind for the rest of his career.

REST HIM RAFA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree with Bam here 100%!
Theres absolutely no point rushing him back for the sake of it.In reality we can afford to loose to Atletico(but will still win anyway) and if we cant beat WBA without Torres we dont deserve to call ourselves potential champions!

Hamstrings are notorious for re occuring again and again, they can spoil a players career.I dont want Torres near the team until he is totally ready. What a shame and how sad it would be if a player of his quality was dogged with the same injury time and time again!
Our next 2 matches after WBA are Bolton(A)and Fulham(H).Surely we dont really need to rush him back! Then its December and we have 6 matches in that month as opposed to our usual 4!18 points to play for in the space of 4 weeks.
Keep him for December Rafa, then unleash the beast!

Imagine Barry as a manager you think the best thing is not to risk Torres for the Champions, as your main goal is the premiership -- I'd agree that position BTW.

Then you are in the middle of the training pitch, with your whistle, and Torres comes, and looks to your eyes and tells you: "Barry, I want to play this game, it's very important for me".

Would you

a) Obligue, you want to keep your star player happy. The risk of injury is small anyway. Go to page 124.

b) Stick to your plan, and not risk him. Go to page 168.

I think you can't always  be too rigid, and sometimes you have to yield some of the players' demands.
