Best part of the game for me was how our supporters started celibrating on about 80 mins. Chelsea just couldn't do anything and didn't look like scoring. We look very good, very very good. Our tackles were fantastic today. At the end i cast my mind back a few games when Chelsea had just hammered some team and everyone on MOTD was saying how awesome they were and how they were so good it was scarey. Liverpool have had very little praise this season and i think all the comentators were just waiting firstly for us to lose against United and for us to lose against Chelsea today. Well all i can say is i'm looking forward to MOTD tonight.

Not strictly true. I've heard a lot of discussion re: whether LFC are ready to win the title this season. I've heard more praise for tenacity and whatnot (with the coming from behind) than scorn for our :censored:

Our defense was shaky for the past few games but today they were excellent played well together and agger is slowly coming back to his best , carragher was immense today . Riera , what a buy he's turning out to be at times he just makes it look so simple , he's got a fair bit of tricks in his arsenal and when he can't beat his man , he looks for a pass and runs into space after that .

I still don't think we are ready to win the title but we will challenge , we're appraoching november and december where results usually kill us , pompey is a must win game , followed by spurs . I think if we go with the right attitude we can put 3 or maybe even 4 past pompey . Spurs are on the road to redemption and today it clearly showed , not going to easy but we're LFC , we do things the difficult way , need to start grinding results and if we're still top at christimas well than maybe just maybe the premiership title will be coming back to anfield . 8 points ahead of manure , who have a game in hand so we're in a similar postion as arsenal last season , who caved under pressure , will we do the same? I don't think so we have expereinced players who won't allow that to happen but the team must not get carried away , still 30 odd games to go and its a long league . The most pleasing thing is that we won without torres , which shows that we are not a one or two man team , with that said i'd really hope torres can make it against pompey if he's fit for it , if not leave it , stick babel and keane upfront .

What a changed player xabi is looking like , this barry saga is exactly what he needed a kick up the :censored:

and he has responded superbly was unlucky not to score from the freekick today , has been one of the players of the season so far , and to think we almost sold him . I have been one of his biggest critics and even wanted him sold and one point for gareth but thank god we did not . Has come back stronger from this , a model pro and is slowly but surely edging his way back to his best . My MOM of the match today , well done xabi lad
