I went the gym a few times in the past but got sick of being the skinny one cos the place I to was full of roid heads but I've started going to JJB over the past few months and I feel great, since I split from my wife and money has been tight I've been really down but working out has boosted my condifence so much and made me mentally stronger, I can't recommend it enough  :buttrock

Its not the gym doing that to you, its a personal change. When a relationship ends all attitudes change, you start doing things without the second opinion, you know the one, "you look good to me, why work out?"

The best one is the, "You get ratted love you deserve it !" Of course that would never come from your other half, its the voice your head gives when your single and have been stressed out.

You will find doing things you are not "normally" allowed to do make you feel better !
Bill Shankly: “I was the best manager in Britain because I was never devious or cheated anyone. I’d break my wife’s legs if I played against her, but I’d never cheat her.”

:D Ooh A psychologist!

Probably right though!
Saying that regular excersise is proven to produce chemicals in the brain that make you happy and give a sense of well being. After Paul falling out with his missus hitting the gym was a good idea,im sure the lad was feeling like sh'ite.Keeping busy and working the body is the right thing to do cause it will make ya feel better plus sleep like a baby at nights and wake up fresh.
