Usually probably get in the gym 3-4 days a week with me mate, just do the weights but nothing too heavy.

It is true you do feel so much better after a workout.

Where do you work ? ....... Sports center

No mate, i work for an insurance company, but its in a big building in town that has a small gym and a big sports hall, we have to pay £9 a month to use them, there is also a bar upstairs as well.

One of the only good things about the job.
Just finished playing 5 a side about 20 minutes ago, look like i've been on a sun bed  :D

Oh and their is a stack of f@nny in the gym too which is kind of a motivator, lol :D

I dont bother with much cardio in the gym cos I play basketball, I mainly use the weights to build myself up, I'm doing pilates class tomorrow cos although I play bball I can't touch the floor when stood straight, plus once again it'll be wall to wall women :;):

going with a friend normally kills the boredom, and gives you a bit of competition which helps you push your self a bit. its good if they generally know a bit about the place as you can learn new techniques off each other.

it is true that you gain confidence by going to the gym, i think its possibly because it realises some sort of hormone. but that's just me guessing :D

as Paul said it also helps with sport, find lately i have been turning 50-50 shoulder challenges in my favour.

You can jog, cycle, swim, play footy, etc.... without a gym membership. Strength training - calisthenics, no gym card required.

8k run 3 times a week, job done.

i do three times a week, day on day off, and have football training Sunday Morning, although half of that is everyone discussed who or what they did over the weekend.

totally agree with the confidence thing, and Metalhead is right about needing someone to train with, helps motivate you, especially on days when you can't be ar$ed.

Sorry to hear about the split fella.:(
As always I am focused on supporting the Cloob and the Manager

Swimming infact is an excellent way to get a body cut. It doesn't add mass, adding weights and eating loads of proteins does, if you need to add body mass.

fair play to those who do it tho, and purple aki as your personal trainer has to help!

You could run the two miles to the gym and without actually going in turn around and run back home again. You'd soon be fit and save yourself a fortune.  :D

I've been in good shape most of my life was always active, hiking, climbing, swimming, karate-do etc but when I passed the big 60 even running for a bus was knackering. Reduced now to just walking and climbing the several flights of stairs to my flat.

Should really try to give up the booze and cigarettes,  :(

:D

think youve earned the right to relax somewhat

Missus says if I get any more relaxed they'll be checking me for a pulse.

:D
