gym? i barely have the energy to go up the stairs to my flat without a cig break. i play golf, thats about it excersise wise. i need to do something tho but the nearest geym to me is like 2 miles away, and if i cant be bothered to go that 2 miles, the chances of me doing anything in the gym is not high.

fair play to those who do it tho, and purple aki as your personal trainer has to help!

I need to get back into the gym. I stopped going while the Euros were on, but I've not got back into it and I'm piling on the pounds. Tomorrow should be a good day to start again, but I say that every day. :D
Paul is right though, once you get into the gym and working out regular, it makes you feel tip-top, mentally and physically.

You could run the two miles to the gym and without actually going in turn around and run back home again. You'd soon be fit and save yourself a fortune.  :D

I've been in good shape most of my life was always active, hiking, climbing, swimming, karate-do etc but when I passed the big 60 even running for a bus was knackering. Reduced now to just walking and climbing the several flights of stairs to my flat.

Should really try to give up the booze and cigarettes,  :(

i used to go to the park road gym 2 or 3 times a week when i was still in liverpool but have only been to one about 5 times in the 5 years since i left. most days i will do some press ups and chin ups in the flat but if i let it slip for a few days its really hard to get back in to it.

I've been going to the gym, but I stopped a month ago

Will be starting again tommorow.

I think its great if you have a buddy with you, I usually workout with my brother.

Right now, I've been playing football at least 2 or 3 times a week.

We have one in our work (a gym that is) so i go most dinners, we also have a sports hall, so we play 5 a side on dinners if we can get it booked. And we have a 5 a side league in work as well which is sound.
Usually probably get in the gym 3-4 days a week with me mate, just do the weights but nothing too heavy.

It is true you do feel so much better after a workout.
