I think this is a typical expression of English Humor, isn't it ?  :)

I'd like to know if he's a defensive or offensive midfielder, if he plays in the middle or on the wings...

Right wing.

Thanks

No mate , it's not typical. English humor is usually funny.

Is that true ? What kind of midfielder is Pennant ?

He'll leave Reds at the end of the season because he's a rubbish midfielder

Woof has Judge upset you ?

Anyhow, Pennant is considered an attacking midfielder, who plays on the right wing. He makes some jinky little runs and can whip in some good crosses.

However he lacks end product (goals) doesnt get nearly as much as he should, it wont come now as Stu would say as a footballer cannot become something their not. BUT if he could chip in with 10 goals a season, as oppossed to 1 if we're lucky he would be classed as a really good player, but he isnt- he's average, who from time to time can put in above average performances.  :)

:D , no mate , just felt sorry for the new lad who came on wanting to learn a bit about one of our players. You at least have given the lad a fair go.

anybody who has slagged Pennant off over the last 2 years was 100% justified in doing so because he was :censored: useless today. Not even I can find any positives from today's performance by Pennant.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

I didn't see the match today John so I can't really comment on today's performance... but I've been saying for sometime now that he's just too dumb to be any good in a top club. Coupled with his behavioral track record, we should have never touched him.... even with an extra long barge pole....

I've been one of his biggest fans since he arrived Con, but today he really disappointed me. He wasn't alone in that respect, all our attacking wide players (Pennant, Benayoun, Riise and Voronin) were poor, but Pennant especially.

Riise can't run or pass.
Benayoun couldn't of controlled a bag of cement today and Voronin was a disgrace.

Two maybe three golden opportunites wasted by Voronin. I defended him when people were having a go at him for Wednesday because he only had 10 minutes to make an impact and although he didn't have much longer today, he did have two great opportunites as well as a free shot from the edge of the box, none of the three hit the target.

As for Penannt...well I don't really wanna criticse to strongly but he was :censored: useless and that's putting it lightly. Nothing he did seem to work, maybe it's because he isn't match fit but that's no excuse for a professional to play as badly as he did today. He really was poor, and although I still think he has it in him, it will take a breath taking performance to make forget today.

Ah mate...... In this, we have to disagree.... I just don't rate him at all.... he's too mentally fragile. We need better IMO.

Paul Anderson is the answer.

Pennant showed today why he needs to be sold.

Apart from his shortcomings in an attacking sense, which many disagree on, one thing that is not even up for debate is the fact that defensively he is a complete liability.  He gives away needless free-kicks all the time - and today we were punished for his carelessness because Arsenal's goal came from a Pennant foul.
