Our most expensive flop is £14m, the mancs is £28.1m and Chelsea £30m. How much did Reyes cost the goners as he's probably their most expensive flop? (£17m?)

and less injuries , IMHO kuyt's doing a better job then i think yossi orpennant could be now , never chop and change a winning team

I just get the feeling Benayoun playing in Kuyt's role would score more goals and do a better all-round job. He's shown capable of scoring goals throughout his career and two hat-tricks in his first season here is as many as Crouch has in his ENTIRE career. So why doesn't a goalscorer get a look in? It's not as if we've got them coming out of our ears, after Torres and Gerrard Yossi is the next best goalscorer

I agree that Benayoun (or even Pennant) should be playing in the position that Kuyt is playing in now.

Benayoun is more creative and is more succesful when it comes to attacking the net.

Why is it that Yossi gets into positions to score more often than the likes of Kuyt and Crouch who are meant to be looking for goals? I can understand Yossi doing it more than Babel and Pennant, but not strikers. That is one area we are way behind the mancs, they pose goal threats from all over the pitch whereas a lot of our players don't. As I said previously, I don't expect the wingers to score 10 or 20 a season, but if they pose the threat they should and score as many as they should then they should manage at least five a season. I do wonder if Pennant manages five shots a season let alone goals.

Yossi or pennant should be playing in that postion yes , but why are they not?
I'd tell u why , cos kuyt is rafa secret love affair dutch child

No in all seriousness , kuyt is there as he tracks back , has been putting in good crosses as of late , has been disrupting opponents attacks and we all know he will always give a 110% in effort in every game , that is the difference between him and yossi or pennant

I really wish we played Pennant in Kuyt's role. Maybe we should try Kuyt out in Alonso's role, or at RB

i dont know whats happened with pennent
he was one of our best players this season before he got injured and although he didnt score enough goals for my liking his all round play and threat he caused was improving with every game
i dont think he has being given a fair crack since he returned from injury and playing in the role kuyt plays he could be very dangerous imo

I'd still prefer to see Pennant playing but I can't have it both ways so I'm sorta at a loose end. I'd prefer to see Pennant but don't want Benitez to change his winning side, so it looks like Kuyt has to be number one choice.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

In Italy I read that Pennant is going to leave Reds at the end of this season.

Is that true ? What kind of midfielder is Pennant ?

I think this is a typical expression of English Humor, isn't it ?  :)

I'd like to know if he's a defensive or offensive midfielder, if he plays in the middle or on the wings...
