Lol, imagine Josemi trying to understand him from the sidelines.....Jossey, Jossey....no no no no no, that's baaad defending!!!

the guy slurs so much when he talks even the likes of carragher wouldn't be able to understand him! :D

i read a quote the other day form Riise , he said that when he got to Liverpool he couldn't understand Stevie G and Carra with the scouse accents, he said "I knew it was english, but i couldn't understand it"  :D

Things went very quiet on the investment front but I had a feeling (and still do) that things were being negotiated behind the scenes. The reason any announcement has been delayed, IMO, is due to them wanting to buy players first before clubs decide to inflate their prices knowing we are suddenly wealthy.

It would make some sense if we announce a few major signings and then also release the news regarding a large investor into the club. That way the clubs we have dealt with regarding players would have no way of upping the price.

I was very much against the Morgan investment because he appeared to be trying to play the fans card and was under-valueing the club. If he has quietly negotiated a proper finance package which has been deemed far more acceptable then I would be far happier. I do still have reservations over his policies regarding groundshare and future floatation though.

One thing is certain though, Liverpool FC do need a large investment to regain lost ground on Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Just in case I need info on the best "coffee shops" in your town.
Morgan is a self made multi millionaire Liverpool business man.
He's been trying to invest in LFC for a long time but keeps getting knocked back by the current board .

He's a lifelong reds fan 'local boy made good' . His money comes with a few strings though. One of them was no more Houllier maybe now the bid will get further?  ???

It is up to Moores who pulls the strings of the board with his absolute controlling majority of 51% in the club's shares. Any offer to invest in Liverpool has to appeal to Moores or it is curtains.

Don't get your hopes too high, guys.

It is clear from the acceptance of the Thai bid earlier that Moores wants to cash in also and if a part of the bid, some 30 million goes to him, then the probablity of acceptance by Moores is higher. Moores also liked the Thai bid because he still gets to sit as Chairman while the Thais are allowed only 2 board seats. That way, he gets to sell a part of his shares for cash and still retain menegement control of the club.

I don't think Morgan can quite match that with any of his offers.
