That address thing doesn't work when you click on it, so to save me the effort of getting my big yellow "How to not be a complete feckwit on a computer for dummies" book down off the shelf over me head, what does it direct you to mate?

I believe his agent planted the story not just this season its happened a few seasons now, just to get Rafa a bigger deal and himself some more cash.

I think G & H got wind of this and thats why they had other managers in mind.

But under no circumstances do you give an interview with the local papaer the Liverpool Echo and say yer Jurgen came round for dinner on thanx giving

Madness.

Of course Rafa will be looking for another job if he hasnt already agreed to one, the vultures will be circling our players as we speak.

I also think Gerrard will be gone at the end of the season.

it was september, word come out from Munich that they had spoken to Rafa about the job.

about a week later Real said they also spoke to Rafa about a job.

IMO the owners were wrong to announce their meetings with Klinsmann, (having a contingency plan as they explained is ofcourse prudent)the effect has to have been detrimental to the managers and teams displays, but who knows Rafa may have already known. Its also well within Rafas rights to speak to others should he believe he may be getting the push. I doubt that he will be short of offers in any case.

So Benitez walking will never happen. It's win-win for him, remain manager get paid, get sacked and get a fat wad of doe.

Some people here always seem to disregard this fact.....

Maybe its time i also play the devils advocate (bigmick shouldn't be the only one who does this.... :p)

Lets say....the reason why rafa keeps picking kuyt....picking voronin, trying his best not to make crouch go on a scoring run.....
could it be that he might be trying to get the sack ?

No wait....don't jump on me yet....i am just saying this could be a possibility right ?  :Oo:

I don't think Benitez is purposely trying to make us fail, but it does make you wonder, why Kuyt and Voronin are being picked ahead of Crouch.

If i was Benitez i would keep my eyes open for a new job at least. But i dont think that will be a problem for him.

And i wont be surprised if Gerrard leaves this summer either.

I don't think Benitez is looking for a new job, and if he was it'd only be an English club. Before you overreact and think I'm being stupid, just wait. Benitez is that stubborn a man, that he'll do anything in his power to prove this rotation bollox works in England, and he won't be looking to go abroad until he can prove it and have everyone think he's a genius again.

4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Agreed, his stubbornness is showing when he plays kuyt, he will score he WILL SCORE !! DAMMIT !

For the record how many games has kuyt gone without a goal compared to crouch's drought when he first joined?

Kuyts last goal was Newcastle where the ball hit him, rather than him score, but it's still his......so since then

17 Fixtures since then, he hasnt played in them all, most so we'll say about 13/14 games. Not looking good for him is it?

Didn't Rafa say he was offered more money than he gets at Liverpool by Real in the summer?

Aside from hinting he'd entertain the idea of leaving, why the hell weren't G&H putting in a case for tapping up? Unless they'd given permission for him to talk...???

As for why he plays Kuyt: ask anyone who's played champ manager/football manager. You have your fave player but he doesn't score. You put your reserve in and he scores. Then you look for any excuse to drop your non-fave and play your fave. You know he'll come good eventually. Unfortunately Rafa isn't playing a game and there comes a point when the non-fave (Crouch) should get a run in the side.

I said when they first mentioned klinnsman as insurance that was all it probably was. When rafa first mentioned about needing players and that they dont understand how this sport works in europe, he could be right, therefore there are many things they dont understand, and that could go for managers also. Ignorance on there behalf? I think so but it is possible.

As for footy manager, ive tried with Grimsby, theres no faves there they are all cr@p !

Will people stop being so naive and think the yanks don't understand how football works over here. Glazer, yank, didn't have this sort of problem. Learner, yank, hasn't had this trouble at Villa. So them not understanding anything is a useless arguement. They understood to give the money for Torres didn't they? It's typical Benitez, not getting what he wants, so he blames everyone else bar himself. If he didn't waste so much money on players who aren't even worth :censored: on, he'd have money to go out and buy the quality we need, but time and time again, his transfers have more often than not been proved to be bad signings.

I'm not a fan of the yanks, because of the whole Klinsmann thing, but people seem it's easy to blame them rather than honestly admit Benitez isn't up to the job at Anfield. Which is why I, personally, want to see the back of the yanks and Benitez.

Could it be that we have been unfortunate that we have one who has done his homework (Gillett) against the gob on legs (Hicks) who hasnt? The ones you have mentioned have 1 man holding the reigns, we have 2, and ones an idiot !
