They never intended actually building the first one, where as this one is different, in that they have no intention of building it. :D

And that is why we are light years behind Manu & Arsenal in generating money. We have to get the stadium built and bums on seats.

I can fully understand fans reaction at the current circus. All we wanted is honesty.Instead we have been fed a lot of lies and deceipt, the manager has been undermined and stabbed in the back!like everyone else im furious.

At first i thought a boycott was a good idea.It would show the yanks how we feel and that LFC are not to be messed with.I dont think a boycott could ever be successful though being honest.Liverpool have a massive fanbase, and in reality for every fan that refuses to buy a ticket another one will gladly step up in his/her place and accept it with a smile. It could never be done,Anfield will always be full.It would be a shame though if the die hards do choose to stay away because the atmosphere will suffer and that is a huge part of LFCs identity and one of the most important factors of the culture of the club.

Hypathetically speaking though, say a boycott did take effect and crowd numbers dwindled to 10,000 or so per game.Who would suffer?

Yeah of course G&H would be hit in the pocket and would struggle to pay the loan. But the knock on effect of that would be LFC would suffer a lot more in the long run.
We could'nt afford to pay the wage bill, players would be sold as a result of this our league position would suffer. We would drop down the table or God forbid into the Championship!
What fan could sit and watch and be happy that their actions were responsible for this happening??I surely could'nt!
OK people may argue that if they loose profits the Yanks may sell?True, but how far down the line and in what position will our club be in then?
People seem obsessed with DIC and seem to think that they are some sort of heroe waiting in the wings to save us.No one knows that DIC will be any better for a fact, its all speculation that they are some sort of Messiah!
Also if as a result of a boycott fan numbers dwindle and we slip down the League, will they still be interested?..Maybe if we are sitting at 12th and say Spurs are 4th,whos to say they may not have bought Spurs or someone else by then!
Yeah but the Sheik supports LFC people say, true! But first and foremost he is a cut throat business man and we can rest assured if there is better money to be made at another club his LFC loyalties will come second to the £££££££s!

Im disgusted at the new owners, their arrogance and its our club we can do and say that we want attitude has been sickening to put it mildly. If in the long run we are stuck with them, sadly i feel that there is very little we can do!
A boycott would kill LFC and that cant happen!

We need to remember that LFC has been around alot longer than G&H and will still be going strong when they are in their custard dribbling years(not far away)!
LFC will always be the same, just sometimes things have to evolve and certain things have to be left behind but never forgotton!
Football is changing, look how many teams in the EPL have been bought by Mega Rich men in the last few years?

We may not like it,but regardless of whether its G&H or some other billionaire  taking over its the way football is going,we move with it or get left behind!
Lets just hope they do the smart thing and provide the money LFC needs then stay in the states and stay the fuc.k out of our club and let things be run the Liverpool way!

If they step out of line and go against our way of thinking,a full Anfield is well capable of educating them of how things are done...an empty Anfield will never happen!

Hear is a bit of real news for you.

Beaver 84 have had a phone call to price up how much it would cost to place anti climb fence panels around a Park in Liverpool, they first ask for the cost of hire and then the cost of sale.

They were also asked to cost for hording panles (metal).

the hire was for 5 years (about the same as the hire to heathrow airport they have done).

The call was first made to Windes branch and they Passed the call to Beaver head office in Basildon, Essex.

The start of hire was from june.

Make of it as you wish but it sounds good news if it is the site of our new ground.

Its all "American pie in the sky"...this ground will never get built while those two cowboys ride the roost. We have had so many false promises....these two muppets cant deliver....and thats a fact, dont beleive everything you read in papers either (as we LFC fans know only too well!.) the plans wont get off the drawing board, and by the time (if ever)they do spiralling costs will give the lying yankee b@stards another excuse to backtrack.....we will end up with a 50,000 shack made up from corrigated tin, with these two cowboys. :veryangry

From the looks of it, tin might be exactly the kind of material they downgraded to for the new plans.
