I am tempted to write a long reply about the ignorance of your post Wilhelmsson but whats the point to be honest. I get the impression you are either on a wind up or genuinely believe your views and both of these are not worth a debate with you.

LFC2007, Most English people can’t get jobs because of these immigrants, there is far too many people, this tiny island cannot support the world, our welfare system was set up for us, not Indians, Africans, Polish people or any other nationality.

There are immigrants who work hard, love this country and who have adopted it to their hearts. Then there are those who take, take and never give, who are racist to the indigenous population of this country, who commit crime.

I want to live in an English neighbourhood, where English is spoken and customs are upheld, not in some neighbour where I am in the minority and English customs and the English language are ignored.

Howard stepped up to the plate and was ignored, I would vote Tory if he was still there, but it looks as though there is only one party who have the bottle to stand up and fight back and I’m seriously contemplating voting for them.

The first paragraph is invariably untrue.

Firms look for foreign workers for a number of reasons, and from first hand experience, a key reason is that they often tend to be far more hardworking than British workers.

They will accept any line of work, and generally, give 110%.

That is the reality.

Many Britons simply do not want to take on the jobs that ultimately go to foreign workers, predominantly eastern Europeans.

I'm not suggesting that immigration is faultless, but your views are far from reality, and incredibly unbalanced.

I'm all for more controlled migration, but a closed borders policy would be a gut overreaction, and would ruin our economy.

You are a spineless twerp, who believes multiculturalism works when in reality it creates more problems then cures. I’m sure most English people welcome migrants, well those who come here and give back to the community in which they live, those who will integrate with us and call themselves British.

The fact is, a population of 60,000,000 is having sufficient negative implications on public services etc and the fact the flood gates are left wide open doesn’t help. The Government doesn’t even know how many immigrants there are, who is illegal and legal.

It’s about time the Government pulled our troops out of Iraq and had them checking people entering the country via airports and docks as well as the border and get them to fire on will at anyone who enters here illegally.

More and more people are starting to feel this way which is ashame, I don’t want Enoch Powell to be proven right here, but the Government is giving us no choice.

No, in fact, many migrants who come here uphold our economy, and some support our public services. It's really quite common to see South African nurses working in hospitals, or skilled Indian physicians to be working in our doctors' surgeries. They are more skilled than our own workforce, and just as hardworking, if not more so.

Now, there are some problems, but let's not ignore the overwhelming contribution most immigrants make to our society.

Government incompetence is partly the reason we have problems, and I am all for, controlled immigration. However, to operate a closed borders policy would be naive at best.

You, on the otherhand, want to live in a toff-nosed utopia, where pimms and croquet are compulsory school activities.

Get real, live in the real world, our economy is sustained by immigration. It would not function but for immigration.

You are incapable of making distinctions, you are a reactionary thinker, everything comes from the gut, and not from the mind.

The fact is immigration has gone too far, anyone can come here and claim asylum or citizenship and a vast majority do not come here to contribute they come here to sample an MEDC country and these people who are in the majority need to go home, they need to be forced home. If it means into danger then that’s their concern, not the concern of us English.

I want to live in England not a country full of aliens who I have nothing in common with, I want to live in a nation which is proud to be English and doesn’t pander to immigrants. I want to live in a nation where the indigenous population is treated higher than immigrants.

I want England to be for the English, I want English traditions to be upheld and respected by all, and I want England to go back to being England.

Is that so much to ask for and is that so out of line, out of date? I don’t think so. And those who call me racist, need to look at these immigrants, they are the racist people, not us.

I tell you what Thatcher needs to decrease in age and come back and sort this mess out, I know most Northerners hate her guts, but she didn’t take nonsense from ethnics and immigrants.

It’s time to make a stand. That’s not utopian, that’s common sense.

Ahh, yes, the immigrants don't learn the language, respect the traditions of a place and just take all the jobs. You say all that, I assume, with complete earnestness and yet you profess to support a team like Liverpool that is absolutely chocker with immigrants who, you guessed it, don't speak the language, don't play the traditional English way and take jobs away from hard working, British footballers.

The way I see it, supporting Liverpool makes you a hypocrite. Why not find yourself a nice lily white, all English rugby team to support and spare us your bile, hmmm?

Your profile states that you are from Canada, therefore you are in no position to comment on how I view England or how England actually is.
