Three years of losing games and winning nothing.

I agree.

:O  :Oo:

3 years of the same mistake leon, now don't be facetious   :D

I bet that United and Chelsea's boards wish their managers would start making hte mistake of getting into European Cup Finals . . . .

no mate, they are probably just happy with their league titles.

now you full well what i am talking about, so we can go backwards and forwards all day if you like but its just much better if you let it sink in, i am not asking you to agree with it, just to understand it

:;):

I fully understand it, you clearly dont have an igloo.

How can you refer to three years of Rafa's tenureship in a statement like "why do people keep referring to this as a blip, three years is a hell of a long blip" when the three years included two European cup Finals, one won one lost (one of which was the first European Cup win fo 21 years) two domestic cup finals, one won one lost (one of which was the greatest EVER FA Cup Final) ?

Was it a blip when we beat Bayer LEverkusen, Juventus and Chelsea then AC Milan ?

How is Rick PArry by the way ?

You and him still going to the caravan in Wales every oher weekend ?

he ok mate, i just wish he would not keep me up all night counting his money.

All i was say was that when GH got the boot is was after him saying that he needed 2 more years and the board said they needed results fast.

So how are you "SURE" that he was put in place by a board that wanted teh league in three years ?

You are not.

well heres just one thing that was said at the time.

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry said: "The board decided change was necessary if we were to realistically challenge for the title next season."

I've never heard of a five year plan. Houllier came in with a five year plan and I remember it being discussed at the time of Rafa's appointment that there was no such statements of sort with the new management.

was it five, ok. i dont think he will get the chance to do that then if the results over the next few weeks dont get a lot better, apart from this weekend we have some very easy games coming up, so he better not slip up on the easy ones.

3 years of making the same mistakes over and over and over and over and over and over....................................................i could go on for a whole page. when the same mistake is costing us now then it can hardly be described as a blip, teams that play consistently well have blips, teams that are inconsistent like us don't have blips, we have inconsistency, there is a big difference

There is no way IMO that Rafa should be sacked.  I do believe however that the situation should and will be assessed when the season has finished.

If we havnt made much progress from last season and are still a fair bit behind the title chase then Rafa should go.

It is far too early to call this season, a win on sunday and a lot of peoples opinions may change. I do see why people are getting twitchy though. This is the first time in Rafas stint where the actual thought of him leaving has entered my head. Been very frustrating times lately, our form in the CL has completely turned everything on its head. If we were sitting pretty in the CL group and in the same situation in the league, things will no doubt be different.

This is his fourth year though I think its about right if it was a five year plan.

apart from the fact that £50 mil has just been put into the club. they will look at the end of the year and if they think they can still do it next year they will keep him if not he is out.

I am still not sure he will not be gone before the end of the year.
