Euefa draw

Newcastle will face Southampton's conquerors Steaua Bucharest in the second round of the Uefa Cup, while Liverpoolface a tricky test against Swiss outfit Basel and Man Cityface a trip to Poland to take on Groclin.
Sole Scottish surivvors Hearts have been handed a tough tie against French outfit Bordeaux.

All three English clubs were seeded in the draw in Nyon allowing them to miss out some of Europe's top names.

Newcastle will travel to Bucharest in the first leg in a battle between two former European Cup winners.

Liverpool will not be looking forward to their tie with Basel after their impressive performance in last season's Champions League.

City's tie will prove to be a stern test as Groclin caused a shock beating Hertha Berlin in the first round

Hearts will have an uphill task to make the third round after being handed a tough test in Bordeaux.

Elswehere tournament favourites Valencia have been drawn against Maccabi Haifa

The first leg matches will be played on 6 November with the return ties on 27 November.

it's the only team u talk about without being critical.
u have always stuck up for any manc player that's been slagged off on this forum.
u have never spoken of any experiences watching Liverpool,either live or on tv.
u have never shown any sign of allegiance to LFC but your defence of manu has been very apparent.
but cheesey that's fine by me,you know I've defended u against torrents of abuse from other members and I like to read your posts.
don't leave this forum,just post a few pro lfc things if u really are a true red to prove to others and myself if u don't like being called a manc.
