Sky Sports news reported earlier that Madrid want Viera signed by the weekend, otherwise he won't be registered in time to play in the Champions League group games - he wouldn't be able to play until Jan.

Bearing this mind, do you think we'll make a few signings this week? Surely Benetiz will have made sure that any signings are made before the cut off point. If not, do you think that we're strong enough to make it through the group stages with the squad we've got?

Yeah were strong enough as the 'big clubs' aren't going to be draw against each other so we won't play against Real

I wouldn't count on it. Inter and Arsenal were in the group stages together and they're both G-14 members.

it's the draw for the final qualifying round on friday! lets hope we draw some random estonian team.

we also find out on friday if the new stadium gets the official go-ahead.

I'd like to say yes, but i won't be putting any money on it.
At least one or two more new faces required to give me that confidence.

I really don't think we have two seperate teams strong enough. Here's to hope.
