BTW The Liverbird looks mint !

I done this using a Wacom graphics tablet and pen. They're fairly cheap and are ideal for Photoshop. There's really no limit to what you can do because the tip is pressure sensitve and reacts as a pen or brush would; pressing harder gives a deeper shade of colour, while pressing easy gives a finer and more transparant line. Great stuff, and less messy than real paint. I was like a kid with a new toy when I first discovered you could do this in Photoshop, and I'd had it on my PC for about 2 years.

It's USB connected, yes. Though you don't actually transfere anything from it. It's just like a flat slab with an active sensitive area that translates to the area on your monitor. Say you move the pen over to the corner of the active area on the tablet, the cursor on your screen moves over to the edge of the monitor. It takes a bit getting used to, but I picked it up almost right away. It's just like a mouse, only you can get 100 times more control with the on screen cursor, so it's ideal for intricate drawing with applications like MS paint and Photoshop.

I've just purchased the Pen and tablet Emerald. If I can do stuff even a quarter of what you can do then I'll be chuffed. :)

I have the A5 Wacom tablet as well. Its a real bonus for doing graphics/sketches with. Even better when i updated the 12 month old Drivers for it!   :p   Works a charm now.

Flash get.  :glare:   :D

I've just ordered the Bamboo tablet and pen, just the cheaper version to get me started.

I'm now downloading a free trial pack of Adobe Photoshop, as I have two weeks off I think I'm going to get into this.

BTW Anyone know of where I can get the full software for photoshop for nout ?

The Bamboo one looks sweet. I've a valero or something, and it's a model down from the Bamboo, so by no means are you getting a shabby product as my one works 100% intuitively.

You can get a full version of Photoshop over at demonoid.com or any of the torrent sites. Just get bitlord and yer sorted.
