Left wing is the position he played for Ajax. He looked better playing there there in any other position hes played for us upto now. He has alleadys played left wing right wing and striker and out of all them hes looked mroe effective on the left.

I think a lot of people need to calm down about these friendly results. Just like it was folly to get carried away by our Charity Shield win last year, it's pointless to read too much into these results as a barometer of our form for the upcoming season. Just because these games are shown on telly now and just because mickey mouse cups are now handed out at the end of a couple of half-hearted kick-abouts doesn't make these games anything more than an opportunity for the players to get fit and match sharp.

I am a Feyenoord fan, and I would like to say something about this match.

It was a nice match, there was a lot of attacking play from both sides, it was sad that there was a fight, we don't like Gerrard anymore here in Rotterdam. That only singing when you're winning was just a bit of fooling around, we like to do that, and that's not only with Liverpool. We :censored:

About Drenthe: I don't like him either. Today he said he wants to leave Feyenoord for Real Madrid, and he wants to take it to court, so Feyenoord would receive less money.

it was only ment to be a friendly last night but it was a real pysical game just what you need with your last game of pre-season but alot of liverpool players looked rusty still,but i think i should give a quick mention about ryan babel, i know a few people haven't fancied him so far but i think he will be a very good player for us. just watch this space:laugh:
