don't go over the top mate , we haven't seen it in real life yet.
:eyebrow

it is great to see lfc leading the way in aspects of the game where we have been sorely lacking, the usa mentality of big is best seems to have been well mixed with the special tribal feeling that a football ground needs, all good in the closed season apart from the feeling that parry lets us down in the market some times

alot of pressure on rafa this season not to do a houllier and flop when people expect us to do big things, i can't see it with the quality we have brought in and the talent we have retained but lfc have a way of keeping us on a rollercoaster ride

There was an interesting article from the Daily Post posted on RAWK the other day that interviewed one of the top architects on the new stadium project. In it he revealed that the corner that can be seen right through is NOT going to be filled in with the extra seats as it is designed to bring the feel of the park into the stadium.

I'm sure the local peigions and seaguls will bring the feel of the park to the stadium as well.  :D

Those new pictures look amazing. Lets hope we have a side worthy of playing at such a fantastic ground.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Just got back from a fook feast in me Caravan in wales not had a chance to comment on the new stadium but i think it is amazing and will be the best in england and possibly europe when finished. Would not mind seeing some more pictures the ones they submitted were a bit rushed i think so they did't have the best quality but am shure as time goes by we will see better quality pictures that will convince us all. Well done to the Yanks.

The more I hear and read about the new stadium, the more I like it. The stands inside will make it, and although I'm still a bit unsure about the outside, I'm sure I'll learn to love it.

I pass the Emirates every day on the way to work, and to be honest I've never really found it that impressive. If it were half the size, you could be forgiven for mistaking it for a roller rink. In all fairness, if it didn't have Arsenal logos all over it, it could be anything really. There's some big, wide blocks of flats nearby, and it's hilarious how often people think they're the new stadium, until the train moves on a few hundred yards.

One thing I like about the design for ours is that it can't be mistaken for any other structure in the area. At least our design will leap out of the surroundings.

Someone made the point about how often we'll fill it. Well, speaking as a fan based 250 miles away, increasing the capacity straightaway makes my ears pr*ck up. For years I've wanted to go to more games, but I've either been priced out, or getting hold of tickets has been such a ball-ache that I've just not bothered. No question, the impact the new stadium will have on the out-of-town fanbase will be absolutely enormous.

Most probably yes.

The stand opposite the Kop will rise to the heavens.

Are there any plans to sell bits of the old stadium :(  , like with the Kop ?

Or is that a bit premature

Bits and pieces may be auctioned I suppose.

Only when "Anfield 2" is completed.

I would love to see some merterials from the old Anfeild built in to the new one am not talking about the gates and the outher special things we will be taking. I mean small things like i would love to see a couple of bricks from Anfeld thrown in some seats from the kop to put in the new one.  The Liverpool signs that are around the stadium things like that
