Derby v west brom - Last spot in the prem

The Premiership - General Discussion

Postby JoeTerp » Thu May 17, 2007 11:21 am

As an American, I am very attracted to this game as it is a playoff game.  This game has huge financial implications as far as the difference between playing in the prem and the championship, but which team is better for Liverpool to be playing in the top flight next season?

Against the teams that were promoted last year:
Sheff UTD: Draw Away, won home
Reading: won home, won away
Watford won home, won away

16/18 points isnt bad, but should be able to take home all 18 if you're a side that is gonna win the league

I hope Derby get up as well. I'm becoming sick and tired of the baggies BOINGing :D up and down between the leagues.

I'd love to see Derby promoted as well.  I've a mate from Derby and he's made up that they've done so well this season.  Can't wait for him to watch them get dismantled at Anfield! :D

As a fan who travels to away games watching LFC we hjave enjoyed sparkling success at WBA with a 6-0 and a 5-0 there in recent seasons.

As for Pride Park, Home of Derby it's a cracking new ground for atmosphere.

I'd like to see Derby come up for a change as they have been out of the big league for a couple of years.

I would prefer Derby to go up as they finished a fair bit higher in the table than WBA. It is fairer if they go up and they are probably a better team too (table doesn't lie) so have a better chance.

Plus - scousers always say that they love the derby games. :D
