Yes, Cigs, I'm still frequenting the usual shitholes around Liverpool City Centre quite a bit, but they're where I feel most comfortable. And Summer's approaching...

Tell you where I'm not fucking going. Was in the Slug and Lettuce the other week as they had Perroni on draught. Three fucking pounds a pint. The only reason it's so expensive is cause loads of wine drinking office type birds go there for cheap wine and that means dirty bastard lads such as myself will go in there and spend a fortune on admittedly excellent lager, whilst trying to blag the ladies...

I haven't got a fortune and if I did, I wouldn't spend it there. I'd be up round Hardman Street or Wood Street. I wear a suit and tie to work but that means fuck all to me, that's just a poncey bar that for people who drink wine when they go out, all dressed in their suits while they do nothing in an office all day but get paid a fortune for doing it. I work in an office all day but work my b*ll*c*ks off. I'm not rewarding myself with a glass of wine afterwards. Give me a pint of strong chemical free real ale which will destroy you after five pints. Or Carling, which I can put about fifteen pints a night away and still go another ten the day after. Fucking easy. None of this wine when you're out with the lads... :no

Don't get me wrong, I've drank a bottle of red tonight with my feet up, (I secretly like the pissed feeling a bottle of rouge gives you...) but to drink it in a bar is just WRONG!!!

Won't fall for that again.
