Fair play to you JBG and top marks for your honesty. There may well be something in what you say about me and Peewee.

I actually thought he was incorrect in banning Stu and said so in a PM to him and the other mods, having said that Stu doesn't half ask for it sometimes. I myself though have used the same method as Peewee did to be fair on a couple of occasions. None of that one warning then wait two weeks before the nest one stuff. Bam, bam, bam, bam, see you later and don't let the door smack you up the erse on the way out. I think the distinction probably (hopefully anyway) between what I did and what Peewee did was that I only did it when I was absolutely convinced the poster in question was a wind-up merchant and not in fact a Liverpool supporter at all. It's always easy to criticise though, and I'm absolutely convinced that peewee did what he thought was right so you've gotta respect the fella for that.

For my part, I just plod on and do the best I can. I certainly never asked for the job and would have absolutely no problem at all if I was asked to step aside and let someone else have a go. My biggest crime has been that what with one thing and another I haven't been on hereenough but I'm hopefully back now so i'll give it my best shot. FWIW I don't think I've done too bad so far but I'll try and improve.

If, and those who know me would know I say this without even a hint of irony or sarcasm, I or anybody else for that matter could get to JBG's level then the forum would be a better place to be. He was without question the best moderator we ever had and that is one of the reasons I don't mind in the slightest his honesty about my prowess at the job. The other is I must confess I think he probably has a point.

As an aside, and I haven't read through the rest of this thread yet but am about to, this is probably best laid to rest now. Peewee mate Stu hasn't "won", and you haven't been betrayed by anyone. It doesn't matter a bugger at the end of the day and if you still want the job that bad you can come back and take my spot. Anyhow I'm twelve hours ahead of you feckers and I've got a babysitter so I'm gonna go out and have a bit of nosebag and a couple o beers with Sarah.

Well I've read the whole thread now and as for the recurring theme about Sabre complaining to the other mods/the other mods being asked for their opinion/some kind of witchhunt as per usual the truth is kind of nmore boring than the fiction. If Sabre did complain to the other mods he left me out, if the other mods were asked for their opinion I must have got left out and if there was a witchhunt nobody told me. Sabre is innocent as far as I'm aware and the only Mod who contacted the other mods (including Peewee) and voiced the opinion that Stu shouldn't have been banned was me I think. FWIW I don't think Peewee should have been stood down but feck it lets move on.

its still going mate because people want a reason, thats life mate.

i know i want a reason, i know i want to know why i was stopped while someone with more complaints about his appointment carries on, and is also a smarmy kunt via pm, why someone who doesnt even understand the nuances of the english language can moderate a forum properley, why someone who can go crying to LFC because i defend someone from his opinion (which was wrong by the way, just as he was wrong when he got involved in my discussion with metalhead). to be fair even if he didnt go crying to LFC i think his appointment is wrong for the points i mention above.

there are two people who can resolve this, sabre can tell the truth or LFC can tell the truth, or maybe the opinions of members dont matter
