Incase anyone else (that'll be me then) hadn't realised...here is a pic of the new note in circulation. Looks OK i suppose. Just the sort of currency i could envisage handing over a Bar counter or producing in a betting shop.....Mind you, how the hell would i know! - ill never get hold of one in our house anyway

I honestly believe they're doing this to get us used to the feel and image of the Euro, ready for a stealth conversion.

I said exactly the same when I got one Lando. It even feels like a Euro, it's not 'Poundish' at all.

NO TO THE EURO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not that it effects me anyway   But I'm still English and proud, and thats one thing we still need to hang on too. F.ucking Jaguar's German now isnt it, all British manufactured cars and industries have sold out to the Europeans .

We should not shut the bank of England down, so that some Brussell sprout can control our economy more. Britain fought two world wars against Germany to stop them controlling Europe, but now the clever crouts are wanting to control it a diffrerent way. Isnt it because they and France have two of the largest populations in Europe so they get main say? F.uck that I wouldnt be able to take that, getting told what to do by a German, and than even worse the French. What was the point in fighting the war then ?

Everyones scared of the Euro... Why?

Dya know why? Because they're scared of seeing the real price differences of tax and like that in other countries.

IE somethings £2 over here, 2 euro's abroad... the thing over here will then become 4 euro's.

Its all and all politicians deserve a smack in the face.

I tired to re-register as that but I typed in the wrong email address so had to come up with another name. Didn' think that many people would notice.
