Very sorry to hear this Judge.  Had to deal with a loss myself recently, mate, so my sympathies to you, your girlfriend and your brother and sister-and-law.  Keep your chin up, fella.  YNWA

Thats the way life is mate....

one minute its yanking you up by the balls and forcing you to act...the next it pleasantly surprises you with twists and turns that were deemed impossible...to the next, where it kicks you squarely in the teeth and says...."ha - deal with that little lot"   :(

sorry for your trouble Judge...take care and try not to become too cynical after this.

I'm really sorry to hear that Judge. My thoughts are with you at this sad time. Billy and I are going through the same thing at the moment. My Aunts mother-in-law died on Wednesday. Was At the funeral this morning. We are at another funeral on Tuesday. Billys nieces cousin (on her fathers side) commited suicide earlier in the week. And my best mate Rickys wee brother is dying. Its only a matter of time now. Hes only 11. I've never been to the funeral of a child before.

I'm sorry to hear that mate.

Life's a piece of sh*t, but I hope you can pick yourself back up and help your girlfriend and your brothers wife get through their grief.

My thoughts are with you all.

My thoughts are with you and yours.
Although grief seems to have certain stages everyones grief is different, you have difficult times ahead. Take one day at a time, sometimes I can only cope with 1 hour to the next, the mixed emotions are a rollercoaster ride you certainly would not queue or pay to ride on. Stay strong and caring for your loved ones, sometimes they will lash out for no reason or try to put the world to rights. I think its really difficult for those close to the bereaved sometimes everything they say or do is wrong.  Dont know if its an age thing but friends have said that death now seems to be more in your face, one friend attended 7 funerals last year, sometimes we darnt text each other cause there always seems to be bad news.  Life is sh#t but death is the alternative and that scares the sh#t out off all of us,Phil had certain beliefs he may not have told you, he was never scared of death, took comfort that there was life after death and had a gift to prove this too, but when it came to it he turned away from this belief and that was the hardest part seeing him so scared, no matter what we believe it is still the great unknown but we cling onto the thoughts that our loved ones have gone to a better place and that they are whatching over us and if your reading this my love I know you will have words of comfort and wisdom for Judge and your love of life will continue to support and guide us.  YNWA
