Wenger - Look at the table

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby 112-1077774096 » Mon Jan 22, 2007 8:47 am

i noticed arsene wengers comments yesterday anyway they are below, see if you can spot his mistake.

"It will open it up for everybody. For us and Liverpool a little bit less, but you never know. Of course Manchester United will still be strong challengers for the title. This will be a big disappointment for them - but do not expect them to crumble because of it.

how can arsenals win against the scum have opened the title race a little bit less for liverpool than for arsenal, we are one point ahead, we have played our hard away games, we have beaten the champions at our ground, we are unbeaten in the league at home having won 10, drawn 2, scored 25 and conceded 3, sure we have lost 6 and you have lost 5,, the mancs and chavski have lost 3 apiece. but from where i am sitting arsene we are in a better position than you with your 5 draws at home and that all so important one point behind us. and you still have to come to fortress anfield in the league.

god how i wished we hadnt fucked so much earlier in the season, even the recent defeat to blackburn is making a huge difference.

anyway the point i am trying to make is "arsene you tit, buy a calculator"

:D

I think it should be read as for us (and Liverpool) a bit less.

I think it should be read without parentheses. (I guess it's that both Wenger and I are foreigners, but that's what I understood, that both Arsenal and Liverpool have a harder task to reach the top)

I also think that Wenger is right, we shouldn't be too optimistic about getting the league, or frustration will invade us again next time we lose a game.

Just focus in doing a good next match, and let's see where we are in March.

haha your thread sucks peewee.  :D

but on the topic of quotes, i love this one from Jose the Moaner. He said just be kick off, when he knew Carvalho was with a temperature:
'When i told them Ricardo was not playing, i could see what was going on in their souls," said Mourinho.

Jose is indeed the Special One - He sees people's souls !!! wonder if he has ever seen Chelsea's soul

I think it was just a problem with translation Babu It should have read:-

'When i told them Ricardo was not playing, i could see what was going on they are a$$holes," said Mourinho

Johnny Giles does work on RTE highlights show and he said that at the end of the game you could see Mourinho looking around the stadium and knowing that Chelsea will never have an athmosphere like that as you can't buy class or tradition.

Thought it was a great quote. Souness also said similar stuff - good to see Souness still loves LFC even though his management reign is best forgotten.

I'm afraid I was deeply offended by your thread. I think you should apologize and then impose a self-ban on yourself. You coward!
