Ballack use Didi and some Cash to get him over here or Diao if you catch the Germans unawares

Ajax aren't selling, he's a big hero there. You'd have to offer silly money...like most of the 40m coming in for Gerrard

Looking at the early games at Euro 2004, it seems that the good players, with the exception of Baros, do not play for Liverpool.

On reflection, this is rather worrying as it shows that our leading players are not up to the top echelon standards. Even Gerrard was below par, being overshadowed by Viera, even if one were to disregard his horrendous back pass!

Does this bode well for us in the coming season? It seems that Benitez will have his hands really full to turn Liverpool around next season.

There's so much talent... but our lfc players are just not at that level.
There's still more to play though.

Beni's in. He's sure to buy some players. Got a feeling they are spanish.
Hope it'll be either Vicente or Joaquim.

Why's everyone speculating on players in Euro that have only played one game of the tournament so far?

Perhaps when we get to the end of the group stages, or maybe even the semis, people will have a better indication of the ability of a player.

What's especially important too is that the player is consistently good throughout. Therefore don't you think it's a bit harsh to judge stevie g on his first bad game for the year?

i just saw this young striker for italy tonight.
he scored a beautiful goal and looks a class act. i can't remember his name though, begins with a c i think. as the tournament progresses, i think he'll be one of the stars to emerge!!
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

After Czechs beat Holland, Baros is another rising star, 12 goals in 21 caps! Will definitely be a good replacement for Owen when injured or off form.....

The czech players are all class.
Never say die spirit, coupled with skills in adbundance, this team is the best so far.
I am happy that Baros(2goals) and Smicer(1goal) are in the team.

With baros single handedly destroying holland, it should be "Owen - a good replacement for Baros when injured or off form....."

With each match owen plays for england, the more i rather cash in on him..........

Dont forget to take a look on a young talent, named... C. Ronaldo i think :D  :p  :D
Seriously now, I believe Vicente is EURO2004's new talent, as well as Giourkas (Greece, right back, very good and quick defender with long pass)

Actually the latvian striker who scored against czech also looks good. Has pace, good first touch and and create goals. A lot like owen (not now, but 2001 season).  He had another good game against germany. I think he plays for dinamo kiev or something.

another stat - he scored all the 3 goals against turkey in the play-offs.
