I dont think we need a striker,we have crouch,brilliant england record,bellamy,top finisher,wen in form-quick..fowler,very good finisher when fit one of the best finishers in the world,very skillful....kuyt,good,strong and a good finisher

I think the forwards we have will do the job providing the service esspecially from wide improves, Pennants delivery ( bar a few ) has been :censored:

at best so far and the corners he takes either fail to beat first man or clear everyone in the box, witch is why Gerrards been filling in out there.
We still need a world class winger/wingers IMO and maybe a player like Alves who could also fit into a wingback system is the answer.
But personaly i would prefer the all action goal scoring Wright Philips type,
we are missing service and GOALS from out wide and IMO its there we still need to improve

i think we should try this formation more often ( 3-5-2 ) espeacially now with gonalez and kewell injured
