i know theres going to be plenty of new talent that'll be spotted at the tournament, so if you think theres anyone we should buy then let us know.

so far i haven't seen too much:
that young german with the long name that came on against holland wasn't bad and liverpool will have there eyes on a few such as rosicky from czech rep and the gree left back.

make your suggestions...

It is tempting fate to buy anyone on the strength of a good tournament. A certain Hadji Diouf was one of the stars two years ago. Nuff said?

Smicer...Smicer, I have heard that name being touted as "a special talent who can change the course of a game..." by a French manager who recently lost his job.

If I am not mistaken, he is a player who can change the course of a game...by missing sitters, giving away the ball all too easily and ensuring that clear-cut chances don't get converted thus ensuring victories don't come easy!

that's the one. now HE looks like a player who can change a game like he did last night. he brought pace back into germany's attack and he's skillful as well. at the risk of sounding like houllier- he's looks a great prospect for the future.

smicer missed another sitter last night. he headed wide from 2 yards. i think he said he would be interested in moving back to his old french club(not sure which one but i think i think its marseille or lens). i'm praying that it's true. i'm sick of seeing him being brought on and making no impact for the team and after putting a tenor on the czechs to win euro 04, i hope he doesn't get much of a look in.

Speaking of Baros, i think we should hire the czech boos - at least he knows baros is alot better than smicer which is an improvement on gh

poborsky has a lot that would appeal to a new manager(except that he used to play for manure) :
his dribbling was top class, his pace, his shot is like a bullet, his crossing -
he could be just what we need - a good crosser of the ball on the wing!
anyone have any objections to buying him?

Problem was he was a bit of an enigma at man u. Could we take the chance? but he did link up well with baros.

Smicers old club was Lens and they cannot afford him.

i think he wasn't good at man u cos the season he joined was the same season that beckham emerged.
