like i say guys, this one result doesnt make all the other away results ok, they are still very poor results

true mate, we got bad results but as well as good results, i don't think most of us forget both. the bad ones are still bad results, but the good ones are also still good results. cr@p results gainst manure  etc are still cr@p. we do not forget that. but we also do not forget CL cup FA cup etc at rafa's earlier management, which is not a bad foundation for other cups to follow.

it's not us who forget the bad results, but i think it's lionheart who's  too quick forget the good results.

don't get me wrong, i am not saying rafa is beyond criticism, but it's too far early to fire rafa.

that's my diplomatical comment

but actually i want to say

rafa has to go?!

are you out of your fcukin mind?!!!

If we win every game from now until the end of the season, some people may look silly. :D

JUst remember our hardest games are gone - we can do this.

i dont get you lando, even if we win every game from now until the end of the season, that wont change our start to the season.

it will not be very fair to look back with hindsight and slag people for saying we have had a bad start, thats a fact mate and it will never change. you cant turn round at the end of the season and say it was stroke of tactical genius by rafa to start so poorly.

i am ecstatic that we beat wigan, i am ecstatic every time we win, did i expect us to beat wigan? yes i did. would i be happier if we beat everton, manure, chelsea, bolton? yes i would as these are more difficult games, but nevertheless they are games we need to win to challenge for the title and a true measure of who we are

barry, why do we have no confidence? it comes from bad results. its a catch 22 mate

i think you are missing my point here mate so i will explain it again, no matter what happens for the rest of this season we had a very poor start, nothing that happens in the future will change that.

yesterday was one result, a game we expected to win. at the moment this game is just a one off and we have to wait to see it in the bigger picture, see if we can now build from here.

Lack of confidence could also come from the media and all these fans that dwell on our away record and bad start to the season. Yes we had a bad start....  Lets get over it and look forward to the rest of the season.

Rafa to go ?  Lionheart you are a funny man !

I just got a PM from Lionheart, saying that he has been floating invisibly around the forum and reading the responses that were made on this thread. It seems he's a bit embarrassed by his original post and thought that he'd like to blame my responses to his thread as the sole reason why he won't be back on this forum.
I've been hanging around this forum for close on three years and been supporting LFC for just over 40, which is probably been longer than you've drawn breath.

I've gotten on well with most people, granted some better than others. Some of the personalities are challenging...but never have I run into someone like you.

You must be the biggest egotist I have even had any dealing with and I've dealt with people with massive mental illnesses. From your very first postings in this forum you have abused and belittled your way around. Sure you have some like minded people that you butter up to or visa versa, but even those people wear out their welcome don't they.

Yesterday, I came on to this forum to get a couple of things off my chest...it could have been just to use the forum as sounding board but you couldn't even say one thing without feeling the need to abuse me and my opinions. Who or what gives you the right to be so abusive towards others and their opinions.

I'm not sure if you are a bully or just a pathetic moron who abuses people because he can (because he's hiding behind a computer monitor). I bet you wouldn't do it to my face big man!!! No, you're a pathetic, moronic, bully. A comuter screen is the only place you can become a big man isn't it Stinker?

How dare you abuse me for airing my opinions as if they aren't as worthy as yours. A massive egotist of massive proportions would just about sum you up.

Anyway, I'm done on the forum. With the likes of you around I'm not going to be able to enjoy myself. You might also like to consider why we don't see the likes of Judge, Laza, and a few other of late. Personalities such as yours must go a long way to explain this loss.

Enjoy your life little man I hope you aren't as critical with your children but it wouldn't surprise me if you were. Do your kids a favour and go and get a vasectomy, because there is no way they could live up to your expectations...

BTW, don't bother responding. I'm done....

I just want to say before this thread is locked that it was not my intention to directly attack him personally. The worst I called him and his comments was that I thought he was a bandwagon supporter and his comments were an embarrassement. I was not the one that resorted to namecalling etc.

I did press him aggressively as to tell us who his alternative to Rafa was. He still has not given us an answer, as he does not know.

It seems that his comment has struck a chord with a majority of fans, and they have struck out against it. The Director who had shared your views Lionheart, was also seen as a rather unpopular view, hence, he stepped down.

You don't cut your nose to spite your face, and you definitely dont EVER sack your manager on knee jerk reactions. If you say that you have been an LFC fan for over 40 years, then you should know better than to give in to knee jerk reactions. Save your blushes and face the music instead of staying in the shadows and running away like a wimp. Come back and say you were drunk or something, because we all know that your calls to have Rafa sacked was out of character, and its taken everyone by surprise because you have decent views all other times.

Believe. YNWA!

but reading his first post he doesnt ask for rafa to be sacked, he says it would be better for rafa to go, that can either be bt his own choice or by the clubs choice.

i have to be honest stinger, we have never had bad words before but i was surprised by your little outburst, all the guy did was have the balls to post an opinion that is different to some others, views about football and about our club. you did start name calling to be honest, calling him an embarrassment and a bandwagon supporter. just accept you both have different opinions, i respect lionheart for saying what he thinks rather than the usual 'trust the boss' rubbish that we read.

the fact is that this season our league form has been poor, if that is down to rafa then he should be questioned (not sacked), if he says its down to still finding a settled team or still settling to the premier league then he should be questioned (he has had two years).

rafa is not infallible, we have won two trophies under him which is fantastic, but we also won trophies under houllier and he also made may mistakes, the biggest being stubborness and refusing to admit when he is wrong.

i just hope rafa doesnt go down that route mate

Lionheart wrote:I know I'll get slammed and flamed for this but I think there is no alternative but for Rafa to go.

That's Lionhearts opening sentence .

Personally I thought he got a fairly measured response from most people . A few may have "flamed" him but he says himself that he expected it, so why the whinging ?

Think Lionheart is being a bit precious on this one ,I thought he was made of sterner stuff .

If you can't stand the heat don't light any fires , it's that simple     :D
