That's Lionhearts opening sentence .

Personally I thought he got a fairly measured response from most people . A few may have "flamed" him but he says himself that he expected it, so why the whinging ?

Think Lionheart is being a bit precious on this one ,I thought he was made of sterner stuff .

If you can't stand the heat don't light any fires , it's that simple     :D

peewee wrote:but reading his first post he doesnt ask for rafa to be sacked, he says it would be better for rafa to go, that can either be bt his own choice or by the clubs choice.

i have to be honest stinger, we have never had bad words before but i was surprised by your little outburst, all the guy did was have the balls to post an opinion that is different to some others, views about football and about our club. you did start name calling to be honest, calling him an embarrassment and a bandwagon supporter. just accept you both have different opinions, i respect lionheart for saying what he thinks rather than the usual 'trust the boss' rubbish that we read.

the fact is that this season our league form has been poor, if that is down to rafa then he should be questioned (not sacked), if he says its down to still finding a settled team or still settling to the premier league then he should be questioned (he has had two years).

rafa is not infallible, we have won two trophies under him which is fantastic, but we also won trophies under houllier and he also made may mistakes, the biggest being stubborness and refusing to admit when he is wrong.

i just hope rafa doesnt go down that route mate

He still asked to get rid of the boss, no matter how you put it, it still gives the same message mate.

All I wanted at the end was for him to show who the alternative would be. And from his silence, he couldn't back his argument.

It's all good Peewee, but I've had some crazy encounters with others on this forum too, and even though I hate to admit it, I respect their comments. I respect them cos they back their comments up.

Lionheart couldn't answer a simple question and he got flamed by everyone. It's not a popular comment especially at a time when we all need to stand by our club to get us out of a rut away from home.

If we lost/drew last night, I bet he would still be on here backing himself in, but thank god he's not, and we got some well deserved 3 points.

The fact you posted his PM sums up your character quiet clearly. If he'd wanted to air his response to a wider audience then he would have posted it himself. Instead you stick the knife in by posting his comment and then lay into him again. Yes, there is a pattern.

Get a life fella, show some respect.

Maybe, but I stand by my convictions without running away like a gimp or resorting to pathetic name calling unlike Lionheart

Why didn't the players put the work in ? If the players are purposely not playing to their full potential....then doesn't it say a lot of what they think of rafa's management ?

Ok then its raffas fault.......skin him alive..aye!

No chance mate, this is one of the best threads I've read on here in months.  Opinions is what it's all about.

Lionheart thats a fuc.king terrible post and i think it thouroghly contributes to a point i made a while back,i got banned for 'attacking' clueless Australians..you are an adolescent of my point!

You cannot grasp the fact that Raffa has actually got a brain?

Ok we have been poor...who to blame?manager?players?....either way its cool!

LISTEN THIS IS LFC WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HERE...NOT the Melbourne Mangos...its
not a wee thing we can laugh at!Listen up fella...OUT OF THIS HARD TIME LFC WILL RISE.

SACK RAFFA MY AR>SE...Morelike ban clueless idiots

Fans?

The guy is making his view felt and he did state that he knew he would get slated for it. While I don't agree with Lion heart's view. I get really pi ssed off when you call him a clueless Australian. I am an aussie and i casually follow the reds and have always liked them since I was a kid. You would be surprised how many Australians actually follow Liverpool or have a soft spot for them .But don't sound like an arrogant clown  who thinks that the only people that can follow Liverpool have  to live in England and know every single fact about the club. What are you trying to prove??

People can support who they want and how they want. Everyone has their gripes from time to time about the team they support because they want them to win everything.

Sorry mate you give the club a bad name not Lionheart.

Emotions will always run high when it comes to criticizing/defending Rafa.  Funny thing, though, most people want him to stay--whether they think we've blown this season or not, which is interesting (and, as a firm Rafa supporter, nice to see).  Fair play to Lionheart for playing devil's advocate.  I, for one, hope he doesn't disappear from these boards.

me neither.

as for Rafa, you only have to watch the fella in the technical area (after going a goal up) to see the determination of his methodology at work.

That's it in a nutshell.  I fully expected to be ragin' after reading through this thread because the 'Rafa out' stuff does my head in.  In truth, I'm fine with the initial post--just like I was fine with Conn'Ovar's similar comments a few weeks back.  The key for me is that it's not a wind-up...it's a heartfelt Red getting something off his chest.  I disagree with the conclusion reached but I always have time to hear the views of true fans.  So, in reality, it's only the wind-up merchants that do my head in, I guess!  :D
