A Spanish, An English, A German, An Italian team. Palermo is now 2nd at Serie A. New Castle have Emre Belezoglu. Fenerbahce-N.Castle match will be interesting.
Also Group B is toughest. I think we will watch good struggles...

Group H is the most difficult.

Newcastle have got no chance getting out of that one.

I have glanced at NFCU forums. They are a bit afraid of Fenerbahce :buttrock This is good for us. But they dont know that our manager Zico is defective.
But the fact that Group H is really a death group. Qualified teams from H can win the cup.

It's hard to pick a winner just yet due to the fact the 3rd place Champions League clubs haven't been determined yet.

From the current list, Sevilla are Manhattan's pick.

Yes, you are right about Champions League Teams which will be determined soon.
But i dont give chance to Sevilla this year. Because i think they were lucky last year. They had beat only Schalke04 as an elite team. I think Sevilla are overrated. My guess, Palermo will be finalist...Hopefully, their rival will be Fenerbahçe :p

And suppositions from betting sites about winning Uefa Cup:
Sevilla  1/8
Tottenham  1/12
Ajax  1/17
Palermo  1/19
Bayer Leverkusen  1/21
Paris Saint-Germain FC  1/21
AZ  1/26
Blackburn  1/26
Osasuna  1/26
Celta Vigo  1/29
Newcastle  1/29
RCD Espanyol  1/34
Rangers  1/34
Fenerbahce  1/41

D and H are both 'tough' groups for the teams involved.

At the end of group stages, in group D; One or more of Parma, Heerenveen, Lens and Ossasuna must say good-bye to European championships for this season.

And for the group H, its almost impossible to determine-which 3 teams are go to the next stage. I hope one of them would be our Fenerbahce.. ???

NUFC 1-0 Fenerbahce
That was a very good and excited game. Very good performance from Fener, but we were just unlucky.
I am happy because we did our best in this season. I hope this game will be the milestone for solving adaptation problem. Because our defence was excellent. Diego Lugano and Onder performed superb. Zico should have understood that Onder was better than Kerim.I must underline the point that Stephan Appiah and Alex De Souza was disappointment.
NUFC match showed everybody that, if Fener overcome adaptation problem, that wouldnt be suprise winning the cup...
