Source from Reuters:

Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt twisted his ankle in todays Euro 2008 Group G qualifier against Bulgaria. It is believed that the striker twisted his ankle in the 16th minute and had to be taken off.

Dutch coach Marco van Basten said, "Kuyt twisted his ankle and it doesn't look good. It is unlikely he will be fit for Wednesday."

More to follow once a check-up has been done

Hope its not bad :(

I'm just pleased that Gerrard is suspended for Croatia so he won't pick up an injury. To be honest, it's performances such as yesterday which is turning the fans away from England.

Lampard was dogsh#t once more, Neville has lost it, Rooney is struggling to live up to his own hype and Carrick WTF how much did the mancs pay for him? He's not a poor mans Xabi Alonso, he's a poor mans John O'Shea.
