3rd qualifying game under mcclaren and the 4th game under the new boss and we are still to concede. No hargraves is going to be a major set back. I cant believe im actually saying this but he has been our best player through the whole world cup and throguh the qualifiers. I dont see gerrard moving into the centre as we have no Real cover for the right wing. Shaun wright phillips but cant see him starting. i think england should possible start with a 3-5-2

                            Robbo
      Carragher        Ferdinand         Terry

                            Parker

Gerrard                  Lampard              Ashley Cole

                            Rooney

              Crouch                   Defoe

2-0 england
Gerrard
Crouch

Can't see 'em going with a back 3 despite what's been reported this week.... Rooney's definitely back in but apart from the need to replace Hargreaves I think he should stick with the 4-4-2.
I'd prefer to see Scotty Parker get a run out but reckon Macca will more likely go with Carrick especially with it being at Old Stratford.

Why isnt Scott Parker playing instead of Carrick?
Im glad Carra isnt playing he has been awful this season, maybe this will be a wake up call.

Hard to summarise it really.... We had the lion's share of the possession but couldn't put them away, Stevie G's shot was awesome, hardly any backlift and really deserved to go in.... I think it's literally a case of "you can't win 'em all".....?
