Bruce, Jan and Craig were the only "foreigners" in our '86 Double side.... For technique, I think Jan was right up there with Bergkamp, Cantona & Zola but it always has been difficult to compare players from differing eras even though they were less than 10 years apart.... You wonder how Jan would have fared with the different training and nutrition that goes on nowadays....

I have a feeling it would have been  very difficult to get him off his All Pie diet!!!

Jan was one of the best passers of the ball we ever had.
