What a difference a week makes - Zero to hero

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Leonmc0708 » Sat Sep 23, 2006 7:18 pm

A week ago, we where written out of the title race by Andy Gray "Liverpools title hopes ended on 17th September" following a defeat at Chelsea.

Many fans on here questioned Rafa's tactics, team selection and one even compared to Houlliers reign.

Fickle fans, now jump on the title charge bandwagon, we welcome you aboard........

That's the thing. We are not in proper gear yet. But as I said in another thread, we won 3-0 today without playing particulary well. Imagine what we can do when we do play well for 90 minutes.

I won't look that the league table and our possibilities to win the title until February or Match. For now I'm happy because we're getting back the good tradition of getting clean sheets, and our machinery seems to be heating every week.

LeonMc does have a point, even with the credit that Rafa has earned the last two years, a shaky start seems enough to put some fans very nervous! but it happens everywhere in the world.

I'm happy.

Leon I think u need to understand that after most matches when we lose, the fans aren't really thinking straight (including me). This makes them think they have lost any hope of winning the title when we're only 8 points back with a game in hand

I still think we need to get rid off Rafa hes shocking.  What on gods earth was he thinking leaving Carragher out.

The sooner we get rid and get a decent manager the better, Alan Curbishley would be nice lol

You sat and said little to nothing when the chips were down!

Now we have 2 wins in a row you think its OK to insult people that were unhappy with an underpar start to a season!

Why dont you come on and post your feelings when we get hammered 3-0 by the Bluescum?
Maybe im wrong but you only seem to post when we win?

GREAT WIN TODAT ALL THE SAME! :buttrock
