So what do you think of PSV? Strong or weak? I think we can end up second in the group, you Reds will be somewhat difficult, but at home we can win or draw.

We have a good defender, Alex, and a very good goalkeeper, Gomes. Keep an eye on them. Cocu is still very good player, with some brilliant passes and goals. See for example this.
Also a very good striker, Farfan. Sad Vennegoor just left though.

Have to say we also saw that... eh... well, that Galatasarayfans on our boards too...

Alrite mate, these Turks have invaded every Liverpool forum on the net :laugh:

Im looking forward to our game with PSV its going to be difficult though cause PSV are very attack minded.
But since 2 season ago, when you nearly Knocked AC Milan out just imagine we could have been in the final together then

A lot of your players have left since then, Park and Li plus Ooier has he gone to Blackburn?
It will be a tough game cause Hiddinks a good manager, but I dont think your the same team that nearly knocked Milan out?
I may be wrong though?

I think PSV are a strong team. They have reached the later stages of the champions league in the last few years. I think Alex is a very good defender. Gomes is a good goalkeeper, I remember him having a brilliant game in the quarter finals against Lyon 2 years ago where he saved a few penalties. Cocu is still a good player, age hasn't really effected the way he plays. He never gives up and has a tremendous work rate.

I think you will qualify along with Liverpool.

Well Hiddink is in Russia right now (sadly) and we've a new coach now, Ronald Koeman. Not too bad, he did fairly well in CL last season with Benfica.

Indeed Park etc. left, but we've still a very good defense, with a good new guy, Salcido, and a very experienced midfield with Simons and Cocu.

To be honest, we are not very attacking minded, though its getting better since Koeman is the coach. We have enough with one chance, Farfan is very very good. Also keeps an eye on Koné, with the same hairstyle as Cissé, he can do really good things with a ball. Sad he is not as good in scoring as Farfan.

One final note: We hád to be in the final against you, I can still cry about that match against Milan :;):

I think you will qualify along with Liverpool.
