I have just sent anyway for a Liverpool fan card and was just wondering if it's any good. I'm hoping to get tickets to see Liverpool play Reading in November. Is it easier to get tickets with the card? ???

Its pretty much the only way you'll get a ticket nowadays, unless you go through touts or hospitality, etc.

Just remember league games are gunna be off limits until you build up a loyalty/priority rating on your card. Go for the cup ties at early stages such as the Maccabi Haifa home leg next week. With earlier rounds of a cup competition on your card you'll get priority for the bigger games later in the season.

Another thing I would say is if your friends get a fancard too - you can only buy tickets on behalf of them if you are linked. You do this on the online tickets webpage. Learnt the hard way on that one

I recently applied for a fan card as well. What are my chances of getting tickets to an away league game this season? Do I have to go some cup games first to have any chance at all?

So True!  :D

European away travel may be an option, you have to apply online to be a european away travel member.

Away games in the league are impossible to get unless you get a season ticket holder to buy for you. Liverpool fans are so we travelled that even south coast games sell out as soon as they are offered to the season ticket holders.
