I started a thread ages ago asking what we thought different members on here looked like and the over riding comments I got was that I was FAT  :oops:

I started a thread ages ago asking what we thought different members on here looked like and the over riding comments I got was that I was FAT   

It got me thinking , do I talk FAT ? Can you talk FAT ?   

Maybe I should go on a  vocabluary diet , what do you think ?

This post should not only be read, but carefully considered by everybody.

I've posted in forums for many years, and I do think that many people do much more than reading text from posters, they also try to know how he is, and how he feels. Even what he means. And that's impossible.

I guess it's human, you read and you must do an interpretation, but I personally enjoy a lot more every forum since I don't try to know things about the posters that I really don't know. And the questions that Dalglish asks are a good thought!

Hi Sabre......As far as Forums and contributions go "Perception is Reality" for those who read the posts.

Also two people can read a post and interpret in it in totally different ways and you sometimes can't control that.

How otheres perceive us individually is largely dependant on our manner and attitude (both of whuich can be conveyed by the words we choose to use when posting)

I actualy know Stu quite well and he's nowhere near as abrasive and arrogant as he comes across. I'm not defending him as his approach leaves a lot to be desired but he does know his football and has very little patience. Ohhh the folly of youth :D

What amazes me about this thread is how quickly it went from banning wind up merchants who continuely appear on this boards to stir things up and ruin decent threads. (something i believe needs strong action and thankfully seems to have been done)
To banning anyone that does not share the same opinion or is perceived not to have true football knowledge
