Atleast the people who post a new thread with a news article and albeit not much of their own opinon included to follow up with what they have posted, add something to the site. Be it very little, an attempt was made. All you seem to do for the most part is bitch, and make posts commenting on other people's posting habits. This thread accomplishes nothing other than for you to let out how unhappy you are, and for other people to respond with "You're so right, mate." and have a group cry about it all. While trying to make themselves feel "big," because apparently they don't post rubbish and are above all. It's just as boring and as useless as the threads you complain about.
So, why don't you save your brilliant sarcasm and post something worthwhile (it seems you are capable) more often than not instead of this routine you have going on? "Oh no, someone has made a post that I don't approve of. I'm so brilliant, and everyone else posts rubbish. Why do I waste my time here, someone as brilliant as I? I better start whinging about the quality of their posts, and tell everyone that it's not up to snuff. This won't help matters much, but atleast I can make myself look big and I'll let everyone know how unhappy I am. A couple of kiss-
will no doubt turn up and tell me how spot on I am for pointing it out also. Sounds like a plan."

You are spot on
Seriously though it does actually seem like 95 % of Leons posts are complaints about other peoples posts or threads that have been started. Some of them are funny because of the sarcasm.
But it would be nice if every now and again he contributed to the discussion about LFC matters.
From what i can make out he is a massive fan that goes most of the games home and away, so i wouldnt mind hearing his opinion on some of the threads (football related)
Close season sh!t threads are expected and the easiest way to get rid of them is to just ignore them.
ALLLRIGHTY THEN !!

whatever you think of the topic starter, the point is still valid & IMO needs to be raised every now and again. especially when the transfer window is open.

Sorry Babu a stupid drunken outburst, but I cant help but think that when a more Elite member comes out with a point to prove or a stance to make. (And dont get me wrong I find Leons sarcasm quite funny at times.) The same old names seem quick to back them up and side with them/him, fair maybe but it looks a little cheesy thats all.

Especially ?
Its silly season for christ sake, pull your tongue out of his

.
Its just too blatent

I think it's fair comment from Babu. "Silly season" or not, it does my head in to see new threads started on topics already covered by existing threads. Hell, just in the past hour we've seen a new thread started about players who have impressed in the World Cup...nevermind that a thread on that very topic has been going since day one of the competition! The other day we saw a thread about "who should we sign" when we have at least 2-3 ongoing threads about potential signings. WTF is the point of having a thread on a topic if everyone is just going to start a new thread each and every time there is some new rumour being floated around by the press.
And, all of you bleating on about a.rse-kissing in this thread are wide of the mark--I applauded the original thread because it highlighted an all-too-common occurence on this board. I would simply be nice if some people had a look around for existing threads before they decided we needed another thread on, say, which strikers we need to be going for.
Rant Over!

I know people are constantly starting up threads whenever they feel like it. Its annoying it really is, " bleating " on about it like this thread has done. Makes you no better than the spammers, this was going on way before you joined the forum and me too, deal with it. Does it really effect you that much, is it physically harming you ? Mate there are more important things in life to worry about, and policing on this forum certainly isnt one of them. Thats a job for the mods so, the only decent post in this thread is from Ace Ventura , read it, its true.
