Goal scoring - Getting a bit bored

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby neil » Tue Mar 21, 2006 10:18 pm

Dunno about you lot but I think its getting silly with these strikers scoring goals every 5 mins, I mean, its like pub footy scorlines. I myself have counted no less than 12 goals in nearly 3 games( theres still half an hour left of the 1 I'm watchin!!). This is totally unsatisfactory, what on earth are people expected to have a moan about    ???

Right back to topic, can we score 10 on saturday?

Riise !! make that 13.

as Neil said we've scored 15 goals in the last 3 games

just looking at the results before those 3 games we scored 16 in 16, that includes the 5 we scored against Luton

But we all knew that this would all come together, we just needed that extra bit of luck in the final 3rd

Jose Mourinhio was just interviewed by the BBC and he said that none of tonight's seven Liverpool goals crossed the line therefore in his mind, Birmingham have advanced to the semi finals of this season's FA CUP.

We scored some really nice goals over the last few games but against weaker teams. It was fun to watch no doubt but I think we still need a top striker who can put the goal behind tougher components. If we get that, we could be challenging Chelsea next year. Just couldn't wait for next season as we are going to have many new comers!
