Defensive or attacking - Which style?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

We haven't played entertaining football since the early 90's in my opinion.

In defence for the attacking option look at Real Madrid, they haven't got the best defenders in the world but they adapt the Kevin Keagan therory of 'you score 3 and we'll score 4' but the problem is that we haven't got the service/creativity to take that attitude to teams but hopefully we will in the summer.

Well at the moment we play a sterile defensive way and have done since our excellent start last season.
There is no secret to good football as the best teams attack as a unit and defend as a unit.
We seem incapable of this under houllier and he has had 6 years and yet we still lack cohesion.
He has had more than enough time and it is time for a change 4th place or not.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.
