couldnt agree more with ciggy "HOOF IT TO CROUCH'S HEAD" thats all we seem to be doing' just because he is 6ft7 its pathetic we waited 30 mins for the 1st effot on goal and it was yet again crouch from 7 yards and once again missed a clear cut opertunity

Our season has just gone to sh1t over the last week. Out of the champions league and 2nd place is now just a dot on the horizon. Todays performance and result were inevitable. I Couldn't see us winning it with our confidence low and arsenal's high. The team selection sealed our fate today. Garcia and crouch up front and no natural winger(in fact no-one at all) to run at defenders. Hyypia was as expected, tormented by henry and his lack of pace was exposed. Garcia lost the ball every time he got near it. We didn't deserve to win, bad decisions or no bad decisions. Gerrard yet again failed to perform in a game vs. a good team away from home. Alonso and hamann were our only 2 decent players. We have to focus on making 3rd place possible and winning the fa cup behind us. At least 4 pts from these next 2 games will put us back on track.
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

This is such a hilarious thread, what a bunch of fickle :censored:. Every time we have a bad result we get a bunch of dumb red neck :censored: and their over the top knee jerk reactions.

do our strikers practise finishing in training with both feet and their head ??
we need to get crouch morientes and cisse and put them infront of the goal with a ball and a keeper in net for a week.see if there is any difference

arsenal may have lost 10 this season but eight of them were on the road, and the teams arsenal seem to struggle against tend to be the physical sides like blackburn and bolton.
they were the better side on the day but they still got the bit of luck when they needed it with alonso slipping into the tackle and gerrards backpass.
we are going through a blip but we aren`t going to turn into a relentless winning machine overnight. it all takes time.
some of our players do look like they`ve been playing for a year solid. that early start and the trips to japan etc might be catching up on us.

he is a world class manager but just some times he baffles me and i feel like im banging my hed against a wall
why leave cisse at home and bring morow
why sell owen and try and ring him bak 4 twice as much we mite not be in this situation if he never sold owen and god knows y he plays morientes

fu.ck knows how many times that owen boll, ocks has been brought up, rafa didnt have a choice in selling owen, it was sell him or let him go on a bosman macca style. Rafa could do fu.ck all in that situation and owen jumped ship

Hoofing it to Crouch has been plan A since we bought the lad,it certainly isnt something new.In our club equalling winning run we were no different then,i personally think we look tired, confidence is low and to be honest although we have been making loads of chances,i think teams have found us out.
The problem with being found out is we look like England in Euro 2004 when Rooney got injured......

we dont have a plan B,that can work well with the forward line we have....

so metalhead and cool hand luke are happy we lost
yeah its true, dredit where dredit is due, but if players arent good enough or proud enought o wear the red shirt then they can pack their bags, which is not just what we have been witnessing today, against benfica charlton man city benfica away, charlton n chelsea away, birmingham at home, we were awful in all those games even though we grinded out wins in some of them!

in our last 14 games, all the way back to the spurs match the only games we've played well in were against man utd and arsenal at home, the ones we have won in the last 14 games werent convincing, we stuttered to victory!

so need jerk reaction my a*se, u need to take a deeper look at how bad we actually are (altho better than last yr) we are still some way short of making a serious challenge for the top!

hopefully when Benitez does get a natural right winger and a natural goalscorer we would have a plan B. Now we must stick with what we have and look forward for the next game. People seem to forget that Crouch is working in the gym and he needs time for his muscles to grow and we are forgetting that it is his first season with liverpool.

Yes confidence low and tiredness, we have played 50 games this season, more than Chetski, Manure and Arsenal.

Gerrard Decisive
What an unlucky week! 0-2 ; 1-2 ;and with a terrible bad luck!
I don't know if someone can explain to me : Why playing all these long balls to Crouch!!!can you tell me the number of wrong pass to crouch? they are too many and when you play Arsenal or Benfica... you should put the ball in the pitch and no in the air otherwise you will look too easy!I love this team but after these two games i feel that LFC goes in the powerlessness and that our LFC is going on one's way of mediocrity; to finish ,i think that when it comes from another one we can forget it but from Gerrard it won't be easy to do it
:(
when we don't have what we love, we must love what we have!

maybe we could have a plan B and leave crouch on the bench and throw him on with 20 mins left like england do
